| Alternate Universe (Spin-off of the Movie Whatever It Takes) Angelus O’Connor and Elizabeth Anne Summers are best friends and next door neighbors who are both unpopular and single. Angelus has a crush on the ultra-popular Cordelia Chase and Elizabeth is very opinionated and is under the impression that all the boys at Los Angeles’ Sunnydale High School are lying and manipulative. Angelus strikes a deal with Cordelia’s cousin Xander Harris. Xander wants Buffy and Angelus wants to date Cordelia. Xander agrees to act all smart and kind in order to woo Buffy and Angelus will act all rude and conceited in order to get Cordelia to date him. During the course of the agreement, Angelus gets jealous of Buffy and Xander. He finds out that Xander just wants Buffy for sex and tries to tell her but she accuses him of being jealous and calls off their friendship after he calls one of their mutual friends, Andrew Wells, a geek and a loser. Prom comes and Buffy and Xander go together, while Angelus reluctantly agrees to go with Cordelia after she begs him to. Somehow, before the end of the night, Angelus confesses his love for Buffy to her. Must Haves: Chocolate cake in a coffee shop Angelus playing the guitar (and yes, he’s a good singer!) Cordelia throwing up all over Angelus’ new shirt Angelus & Buffy’s friends: Willow Rosenberg, Daniel Osbourne, Andrew Wells, Jonathan Levinson, and Larry Blaisdell. Cordelia & Xander’s friends: Harmony Kendall, Allan Francis Doyle, Charles Gunn, Anya Jenkins, and Amy Madison. C/A and B/A angst. Ending result is Buffy/Angelus and Cordelia/Doyle.
