Starfleet Special Ops

Many of you that have found your way here were most likely expecting a personal website and in many ways that will be what you get. Starfleet Special Ops is a very personal part of my life. I am an avid Star Trek Fan and am part of the Command Council of this newly formed RPG Fleet.

For those who are not familiar with what an RPG (role playing game) is simply put it is a group of people with a common interest in a theme that create ongoing storylines usually set in a variety of locations depending on the theme while assuming the role of a fictional character within the story . Each sim as it is called is usually monitored by at least one individual and provides guidance to fellow members. Often these individual sims are linked to a common council or moderator. RPGs in the case of Star Trek there are a great many fine RPG Fleets in existence, among them Bravo Fleet and Azatari Fleet.

Background Information

Starfleet Special Ops is set in the year 2379 just after the end of the Dominion Wars and on the eve of the Nemesis situation. The Special Ops Fleet has been sent to the Delta Quadrant to establish a strong Federation presence there. The Fleet consists of the USS Veritas , USS Churchill, USS Excalibur and the Outpost Redemption (first Federation outpost located in the Delta Quadrant)

A small group of renegades also run a ship called the USS Ranger in a mirror universe.

The Fleet is headed by Rear Admiral Clark Hodgkins, Commodore Eldrade Ultharan and myself Fleet Captain Stephenson.

The forum that SFSO is located on also has a lively chat and leisure section called Ten Forward and a growing database/library of Star Trek related information to help members with the accuracy of their posts.

My Characters

I have been involved with this fleet from its inception and have worked with several of the members in other simms. My personal experience with simming and Star Trek RPGs extends over a 4 year period of time. The members of the SFSO are among some of the best simmers that I know. I have three characters in the fleet and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Each character reflects a unique part of my own personality.
