My Journal

slashdot.org provides a jouranal for its members. I don't create many entries, but I intend to post any big changes in my life the provided journal. The site is a fairly neat place to see news anouncements, and study human behaviour in message forums. In a way this journal is a way for me to write letters to my online friends. It's more about keeping in touch & airing my views, rather than keeping track of my life. I don't use it to discuss CSS.

KDE

KDE is a desktop environment, in a similar manner that Microsoft Windows is a desktop environment. I choose this over Windows because only out dated versions of Windows will work on my computer. Modern, free, & exciting versions of KDE work on my computer. Upgrading is free, so why not?

Opera Web Browser

This is the web browser that I usually use. It's the fastest, & seems to be the most standards compliant. I'd love to work for this company some day. I paid for the browser, & didn't register it, because I don't want that ad banner to disappear. I like the ad banner because it provides search results that are relevant to the subject matter that I am browsing.

OpenOffice.org

"OpenOffice.org" [also known as OOo] is the name of the software and the website that the organization makes. I use the software. It's very nice, and can edit .doc files from Microsoft Office. I don't use this much any more because I don't write all that much. I would rather use HTML, CSS & JavaScript to produce documents.
