And as Raz Ahluwalia reports, this time his fans, family and fellow wrestlers are truly in shock.
Ring Annoucer>"Weghting 229 pounds, The Blue Blazer~~!!"
This was Owen Hart's world - the fantasy world of professional wrestling, where he was sometimes known as "The Blue Blazer".
An acrobatic superhero who beat up "The Villain".
Last night in Kansas City, Missouri, with more than 18,000 people in the arena, and a large world-wide pay-per-view audience, Hart was getting ready to make a spectacular entrance, similar to one he'd made before.

Hart was to fly into the ring on a harness and a wire from a scaffold at the top of the arena, about 5-stories up.

"No, it doesn't look good at all."

A shocked ring announcer tried to tell the home audience what they were seeing was no act.

"Something went terribly, wrong here, suddely Owen Hart - The Blue Blazer, very serious situation here."
