John Lamson and Martha Perkins

John Lamson was born in November 1642 in Ipswich, Massachusetts. His father was William Lamson; his mother is thought by some to have been Sarah Ayres.

Martha Perkins was born about 1649 in Topsfield, Massachusetts, the fourth of nine children of Thomas Perkins and Phebe Gould.

John and Martha were married on December 17, 1668 in Ipswich. They had six children, all born in Ipswich:

• John Lamson, born in 1669
• Phebe Lamson, born in 1673
• William Lamson, born in 1675
• Martha Lamson, born in 1676/77
• Thomas Lamson, born in 1682/83
• Samuel Lamson, born in 1683/84
