BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
Friedrich and Louisa Herzog Friedrich Herzog was born about 1808. His wife Louisa, whose maiden name is unknown, was born about 1814. Family records indicate that Friederich was a farmer. The couple had at least two children, Louisa Herzog, born in 1848 in Bavaria, and Catherine Herzog whose birth date is unknown. These four sailed on the ship "Mercury" from Havre to New York, arriving on May 13, 1859.
