Jesse Reese is a by-the-book cop and one of the last honest men of his profession. He has little tolerance for selfish behavior and even less for people who refuse to answer his questions. Even people who champion his cause are occasionally subject to debate when they don't include Reese in their activities.
Part of Reese's quest for justice stems from an upsetting childhood. He fights to prove that he is not his father's son, but his own man with his own purposes and goals.
