Ben Richards - Tony (November 2000 - May 2001)

Ben trained at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, Surrey studying Musical Theatre for 3 years. He was then seen in the pantomine Babes In The Wood with Frank Bruno.
In the West End he has been seen in Smokey Joe's Cafe as Ben (Prince Of Wales Theatre), Pish Tish in Hot Mikado (Queen's Theatre), Terry and later Kenickie in Grease (Dominion Theatre), Kevin in Meet The Boys (Players Theatre), Tony in Saturday Night Fever (Palladium), and The Royal Variety Performance at the Dominion Theatre.
His other theatre credits include touring with Marti Webb in The Magic Of The Musicals (available on Video and CD), and with Sacha Distel and Rosemarie Ford in The Golden Songs Of The Silver Screen. He played Grosvenor in Radio Times (Queens Theatre), Scott in Up On The Roof (Queens Theatre, Hornchurch), Ted Theodore Logan in An Excellent Adventure (Drury Lane), Simon in Sensation (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) and as Prince in Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley.
Ben appears on the soundtracks for Grease, Hot Mikado and Julie and the Cadillacs. He released a single from Julie and the Cadillacs called "Maybe".
Television Credits include the BBC comedy Dad (Tod), The Des O'Connor Show, London Tonight, Live and Kicking, Vanessa, GMTV, Big Stage, Night Fever, CBBC, Brookside, Doctors, Holby City and The Big Breakfast.
His film credits include Mark in Bring Me The Head Of Mavis Davis and Mike in the 60's Rock and Roll musical film Julie and the Cadillacs. Other film credits include; Even After All (Paul), Smile (Tristan), and Perceptions (Lover). Julie and the Cadillacs
He is currently busy writing and recording in collaboration with various other song writers.
Ben has appeared in many magazines, The August 1999 issue of Company in which there is a very revealing interview. He was in the October issue of B magazine along with John Clarke, Daryn Crosbie, Richard Woodford and David Sellings. He appeared in OK Magazine with Jo Farrell in which he revealed he drives a black Mini! More recently he's been in Company and Cosmo.

Since the end of SNF in London Ben was named Britain's most eligible bachelor by Company magazine in March 2000, appeared in April 2000 at a charity fashion show in Guildford performing a song that he had written, and then in June he appeared on BBC's TimeBank.

From November 2000 until May 2001 Ben appeared again as "Tony" in the UK tour of Saturday Night Fever. Following this he appeared in "Doctors" and "Holby City" on the BBC, did some gigs at the Cafe Paris, and in the West End he appeared as "Jerry" in "The Full Monty" at the Prince of Wales Theatre, London, and as "Danny" in "Grease" at the Victoria Palace (and then UK tour). He can now be seen on ITV's drama-soap "Footballers Wives".




David's Bio

David Sellings - Joey (November 2000 - May 2001/Tony - May 2001 - September 2001)

David initially trained at the Barbara Speake Theatrical School and subsequently at the Urdang Academy in Covent Garden, completing his training in the summer of 1996.
As a child he appeared in the films Yentl and Monty Python's Meaning Of Life (blink and you'll miss him!!!)
His television credits include Hanger 17 (BBC), Mr Mijaca and Disney Adventures (ITV). He also appeared in Ary Bocs for Alfresco (Welsh TV).
He has done an advert for Ciddona for Irish television and Kool Aid for broadcast in America.
David has appeared as a soloist for the Pyro Space Ballet Jazz Comapny in Germany and the original Souls in Motion for the Youth Olympics. He has also been seen in Overture, played the role of "David Brackern" in Fifteen Streets in Eastbourne, and danced in the pantomime Peter Pan in Brighton. He was then in Goldilocks and the Three Bears at the Hexagon Theatre, Reading where he appeared with Mr. Motivator!!
David has been in Fame (Oslo) and Summer Holiday (UK tour) where he was understudy for "Steve". More recently he appeared in Beauty And The Beast (Dominion Theatre, London), following this he was asked to perform in an MGM charity event, partnering Cyd Charisse at the London Palladium.

David enjoys choreographing for other dancers, his credits include, London Leopards (Budweiser Basket Ball League Team) for Sky TV and the Urdang summer show 1998 at the Bloomsbury theatre, London.
David was in B magazine (October 1999) along with Ben Richards, John Clarke, Daryn Crosbie and Richard Woodford. David has also been seen in many TV progs - Live and Kicking, GMTV, Big Stage and Night Fever.
David can be seen in the video of Summer Holiday along with fellow SNF cast member Mark McGee! It is worth a watch!!!
After appearing as "Double J"/Cover "Tony" and "Bobby C" in the London production of Saturday Night Fever David was in Cannes where he performed in the GME car launch for Kim Gavin. Also for Kim Gavin, David appeared at the Royal Albert Hall in Salute the Stars.

David began the Saturday Night Fever tour playing "Joey" and then could be seen playing the lead, "Tony". He then went onto appear in the Hollyoaks video playing "Eddie", he was meant to appear in the program on Channel 4 but this sadly fell through. Unluckily in the summer of 2002 David was due to play "Bill" in Kiss Me Kate but this sadly fell through aswell!! Since then though his luck has changed and he has appeared in the European tour of Footloose as the lead "Ren". We were lucky enough to get to see David in the show and as expected he was absolutely FANTASTIC in it! Great singer, great dancer and great actor!! Following this David appeared in A Chorus Line as "Mike" in Sheffield. Now he is playing "Bill Calhoun/Lucentio" in the UK tour of Kiss Me Kate.

Zoe's Bio

Zoe Smith - Stephanie

Zoe trained at Laine Theatre Arts. On leaving college she joined the company of CATS on it's National tour playing the role of Electra and understudying and playing a handful of roles including Jennayanytots, Demeter and Victoria. She then later took over the role of Rumpleteaster, also understudying and playing Demeter and Victoria. She featured on the tour of THE MAGICAL WORLD OF THE MUSICALS with Lorna Luft and Dave Willets and also took part in the 10th Anniversary production of CHESS in Oslo. Other credits include: BABES IN THE WOOD (Alhambra Theatre), Bradford, THE UNPREDICTABLE MICHAEL BARRYMORE (Futurist Theatre) Scarborough and television appearances THE GASTON AND LEO SPECTACULAR (Belgium), WETTEN DAS LIVE (Germany), The International STARS IN YOUR EYES (Holland), BBC BLUE PETER, ITV TELETHON and a ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE.
She was asked to re-create the role of Rumpleteaster in the West End production of CATS at the New London Theatre where she also understudied and played both Demeter and the principal role of Grizabella.
She then played Maggie and understudied Cassie in A CHORUS LINE on it's National tour, then played Marty on the National tour of GREASE understudying and playing the role of Rizzo and most recently Annette in the German production of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER where she understudied and played the role of Stephanie Mangano on numerous occasions.
Zoe is delighted to be joining SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER again in the role of Stephanie Mangano and would like to dedicate her performance to her parents for their continued love and support.


Following the 2001 tour Zoe continued as "Stephanie" in the 2003 tour.




Adrian's Bio

Adrian Smith - Bobby C

Adrian trained at the Arts Educational School where he was awarded the Harmer / Smith prize for best student.
From there he went straight into the Original London Cast of TOMMY where he covered and played the roles of Tommy and Cousin Kevin and sang on the Laurence Olivier Awards.
He has since covered and played the role of Rusty in STARLIGHT EXPRESS. Marius and Feuilly opposite Colm Wilkinson in the UK / Ireland Tour of LES MISERABLES, and Mendel (the psychiastrist) in FALSETTOES.
His TV credits include THE GRUESOME GRANNIES for Sky One, LIVE THE MOVIES for Sky Movies, TALKING TELEPHONE NUMBERS and most recently he was cast as Robin opposite Adam West for Granada TV's BATMAN AND ROBIN.
Adrian would like to thank his parents and brother for their continued love and support.

Not much news on Adrian's whereabouts following the Saturday Night Fevertour, he did an episode of "Casualty" and now is doing commercial work ..




Bekki's Bio

Bekki Carpenter - Annette

Bekki trained at Laine Theatre Arts.
Bekki is delighted to be returning to SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER after playing the role of Doreen and understudying and playing on numerous occasions both Annette and Stephanie at The London Palladium.
Other theatre credits include THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW where Bekki was Dance Captain and understudied and played Janet and Columbia on both the UK and European Tour. JFK the musical at Olympia Theatre, Dublin. SALUTE TO THE STARS for Kim Gavin at the Royal Albert Hall. THE PRINCES TRUST ROYAL GALA again at the Royal Albert Hall and a CHRISTMAS GALA at Thursford, Norfolk.
Bekki would like to dedicate her performance to Nanny Carpenter and Nanny Rose.

Since the end of Saturday Night Fever Bekki has been appearing in WE WILL ROCK YOU at the Dominion in London's West End.




Steven's Bio

Steven Serlin - Monty

Steve was born in London and trained at the Italia Conti Academy. He has just finished a successful tour of the new eighties musical ETERNAL FLAME in which he created the role of Mickey. Prior to this he could be seen alongside Shane Richie in his tour where, for the first time, he performed his own one man show.
Steven is most noted for creating the role of Terry, a part he received critical acclaim for in the highly popular West End and touring productions of BOOGIE NIGHTS.
Other credits include Plays: Nick - THE BEDROOM FARCE, Mr Boo - THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE, Wayne Hudson - POPCORN, Thomas Putham - THE CRUCIBLE.
Musicals: Sonny - GREASE (Dominion Theatre, West End), JESUS CHRUST SUPERSTAR with Paul Nicholas (25th Anniversary) Middle Elvis - ELVIS THE MUSICAL (UK Tour) George Harrison - JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE, RINGO & BERT (Rep), Brad Majors - THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (UK Tour) Mateo - Ken Hill's ZORRO, Gary - A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT, Hysterium - A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (Rep), Principle Reporter - CHESS (West End / Tour).
Steven took the lead in two biblical productions, firstly GODSPELL in which he played Jesus. Followed by JOSEPH AND HIS AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT where he played Joseph. He is particularly proud of playing Angelo in Sir Peter Hall's Production of PIAF starring Elaine Paige at the Piccadilly Theatre, London.
Other work includes: member of the Stadium Theatre company on board the P&O ship Oriane, Wil Scarlett in the Pantomime ROBIN HOOD and on television Steve was seen in NIGHT FEVER, NOELS HOUSE PARTY, THEATRELAND, GOING LIVE and a stint in the television series, FRANK STUBBS PROMOTES.
Steven is delighted to play the part of Monty and can't wait to show you his real talent wearing those Lycra shorts.

Steven went on to appear in the musical "Scrooge" following the tour, then he went back to the Saturday Night Fever tour in 2004.




Matthew's Bio

Matthew Atwell - Joey (May - September 2001)

Matthew was born in Wales and trained at the Mountview Theatre School where he graduated in April 2000.
His favourite roles while training were Jesus in GODSPELL, Applegate in DAMN YANKEES, Banquo in MACBETH and Jerry in ROAD.
Since graduating Matthew made his professional debut at the Theatre Royal, Lincoln in a production of LEADER OF THE PACK in which he played Peter. He then went on tour with the company of 42nd STREET playing the role of Billy.
Matthew is delighted to be joining the company of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER playing the role of Joey and understudying the lead role of Tony Manero.

Since finishing Saturday Night Fever Matthew has appeared in CATS, FOLLIES, WEST SIDE STORY and LES MISERABLES.




Stephane's Bio

Stephane Anelli - Double J

Stephane trained professionally at Laine Theatre Arts.
Most recently he appeared in the original German cast of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (Cologne, Germany) and also recorded the original German Cast Album, playing the role of Double J; in addition he understudied and played the lead role of Tony.
Other work in musical theatre includes Judge Turpin in SWEENEY TODD, LIFE IN THE FAST LAINE, BEST FOOT FORWARD and the role of Jimminy Cricket / Assistant to Tudor Davies in PINOCCHIO, HOLIDAY ON ICE and NINE (Royal Festival Hall, London).
His pantomime performances include Dance Captain / Assistant Choreographer in JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (Guildford), Assistant Choreographer to Kay Shephard in THE WIZARD OF OZ (NYMT, UK Tour), CINDERELLA (Guildford) and ALADDIN (Crewe).
Television and film credits include THE BIZZ (BBC Television), THE ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE 1998 and the DOLCE VITA Commercial as the young Casanova.
In addition, Stephane has also performed at Trade Shows for PEUGEOT, (dancer / Assistant Choreographer to Gerry Zuccarello, Birmingham NEC) WELLA HAIR SHOW (dancer / hair model) VODAFONE SPRING BALL (Earls Court, London), THE BEST OF TIMES (Grosvenor House Hotel, London) and GENERAL MOTORS DEALER LAUNCH (Cannes, France).

Stephane went on to play "Tony" in the 2003 Saturday Night Fever tour.




Gregory's Bio

Gregory James - Gus

Gregory moved to London in 1997 from his home town in South Africa. Having begun his theatrical career in Cape Town where he appeared as Amos Hart in the musical CHICAGO, he then moved to London with his family to take up training at the Arts Educational School.
While at Arts Educational School, he appeared as Jesus in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Richie in A CHORUS LINE, Henrik in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, Mary Sunshine in CHICAGO, Eugene in BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS and Saunders in ON THE RAZZLE.
Last Christmas, Gregory played the role of Slightly in Jim Davidson's production of PETER PAN at the Ashcroft Theatre in Croydon and he has just returned from Dublin where he appeared in RENT.
