Destruction of the Texas Indoor Arena, North Richland Hills, Texas

The former Texas Indoor Speedway building, which housed the Texas Indoor Arena, home of NWA Southwest Wrestling for 52 months, was recently purchased by a motorcycle dealership. Because of a short-term lease, NWA Southwest was told to vacate the building by September 30. The September 20 show became the last held in the building, and it was decided that we would leave the arena with a bang. The wrestlers were basically told to go wild, throw each other through walls, slam each other through the stage and ramp, etc. Hotstuff Hernandez (who else?) got the ball rolling by Irish whipping Hugh ("Cousin Hugh," "Cuz") Rogue into the stage left wall, taking the whole thing down. The announcers even got involved, which was a mistake as far as I was concerned. I went through what was left of the ramp! The result of the demolition can be seen below.
