It has come time for us to Vent.
AKA WHY BLACK AND BLUE IS NOT A FAILURE
Alright. The Wack Girls have to vent a little.   We're pretty annyed with this whole "Black and Blue was a disappointment" crap what's going around.  We thought we'd take this time to get on our platform and tell you just what the real deal is.

OK- Just because Black and Blue didn't break NSync's record of album sales does not mean it is a let-down.   Black and Blue was certified simoultaneously
gold, platinium, and eight-times platinum, the HIGHEST DEBUT CERTIFICATION of the year.  The Backstreet Boys are the first artists ever to sell more than one million copies on back-to-back albums, and that itself is a major feat.

Black and Blue also was the third highest selling album of all
damn time, which is something to be proud of.  And If that's not enough for you, the album kicks major musical ass.

Probably a reason why the album didn't do as well as Millenium- "I Want It That Way," the single released before it - was one of the biggest pop songs ever, it was everywhere, of course everyone ran out and bought it.  Had the Boys maybe released a song that would have been more popular than "Shape of My Heart," maybe the album would have done better, but it doesn't really matter now.  In case you are
deaf, SOMH is a kickin' song.... Black and Blue ROCKS.  It was not a failure, it was not a disappointment it sold millions and its the SHIT.

O.K..... we're done... had to get that out.  Hope that cleared some stuff up for you.
