11 November 2008 Sorry I haven't updated in a while. We will be showing three Coen Brothers films over the course of the month (and first week of December). The 14th is Blood Simple (1984, R), the 21st is Raising Arizona (1987), and the first week of December will be Fargo (1996, R), but whether the December showing will be on the Thursday half-day or that Friday is still unsure. And make sure you stay tuned for a great Christmas film the Thursday or Friday before senior exams!!! And just for bookkeeping's sake, we showed The Thing (1982), "Garfield's Halloween Adventure" (1985), and Shaun of the Dead (2004) in October in addition to the others. 09 October 2008 The club will be showing Stanley Kubrick's The Shining (1980) in room 220C after school tomorrow, October 10th. The film is rated R so students under the age of 17 will not be admitted without a signed permission slip. Permissions slips are available in room 220C. 03 October 2008 Robert Wise's The Haunting (1963) is being shown today in room 220C. 15 September 2008 This Friday September 19th we will be showing Ghostbusters (1984) (IMDb RT) As usual, it will be in 220C after school starting about 3:15. The film is rated PG, so there will be no permission slips required. There may be a short cartoon shown before the feature starts.
26 August 2008 Next Friday September 5th we will be showing Raiders of the Lost Ark (IMDb RT) after school in room 220C. Showing will start about 3:15 and will run until approximately 5:10. The film is rated PG so no permission slips are required.
