Character Profile                                                                                            Character Name: Cordelia Chase

The  most popular girl on campus Cordelia Chase is attractive, snobby, completely self- centered, fashion-concious, head cheerleader , the object of desire of much of the schools male population , was elected May Queen in her sophomore year and is often surrounded by a group of admirers who hang on her every word.
Cordelia was born and raised in Sunnydale. Her parents gave her a car after she passed driver's ed.

Cordelia, initially made friends with Buffy, thinking that, being from L.A, she had to be cool, but when Buffy a) mistakenly attacked her with a stake at the Bronze while searching for a vampire and b) started hanging around with "losers" Willow and Xander, Cordelia shunned the slayerettes as the lamest of the lame.

After witnessing so many vampire events, she still has little appreciation for Buffy, but she still gets to be part of the club. Cordelia and Xander finally admit that they are in love.

After catching Xander and Willow kissing each other (in 'Revelations'), she decides to end their relationship.

Cordelia leaves the show during series 3, and moves away to take up an acting career..

Her character crosses over into the new TV show 'Angel', where she becomes one of the main cast members.  She works with Angel helping people who get themselves into all kinds of trouble.  The t.v show is a spin off of 'BuffyThe Vampire Slayer'

As soon as she begins to get closer to her fellow collegue Doyle, he sacrifices his own life to save a lot of people. Doyle is actually half demon, and was sent to help Angel in his fight against evil. Doyle possessed special powers which enabled him to see into the future.

Just before Doyle is killed, he kisses Cordelia and passes this psychic ability onto her. Cordelia now has visions of bad things that are going to happen, each vision causes her extreme pain.

Family: 3 brothers: Michael, Troy and John Kenneth. Her parents Don (a salesman) and Chris (a bird- 
             sanctuary worker), are now divorced
Other facts: Used to be a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers
Hobbies: roller blading, hiking, sky diving, rock climbing, running and horseback riding - as well as  
              travelling and cooking. She also continues to dance, and is a former San Diego Charger Girl
              cheerleader.

Charisma had no plans to pursue acting, but fate intervened in Los Angeles while she was working as a waitress to save for her education. Carpenter was discovered by a commercial agent, and her career in front of the camera began.

After graduating from high school, she travelled through Europe. Upon returning, she moved to San Diego where she held various jobs to support herself through junior college. Her job experience at that time included working in a video store, teaching aerobics, and waiting on tables - the job that ultimately led to her acting career.
