Is there a lesser HPU Spirit?


I believe that there is. It is a mere shadow of the true HPU spirit. Its loyalty to HPU is based on superficial loyalty to the university. It believes that HPU is a nice school. However, it is not firm in its belief that HPU is a great school.

The lesser type of school spirit might suffice for school spirit at any other institution of higher education, but not at Howard Payne University.

The lesser spirit is not the antithesis of the true, it is simply a poor and insufficient reflection.
