The Most Sacred Order of the Skate Tree is an informal honorary organization founded by some alumni of Howard Payne University to honor individuals who, in their opinion, have embodied and furthered the HPU spirit.
The name was chosen to emulate the honorary organizations of old.
The organization has no official ties to the university.
