My plague

I woke today hoping to see the sun
Only to see the same old clouds that seem to shun

I went to sleep hoping for a new day
Not expecting the same old way

I was yearning for a single breath of hope
Instead of the lingering ways I cope

With this plague of mine I must bear
To constantly feel my heart tear

Tear from the memories of the great
And fall into the deep of so called fate

Where people say Everything happens for a reason
As if they carry your burden of confusion

Left here to deal alone
With my emotions that I only own
"Lost"

What do you say to someone who is lost
Lost in thier memories, lost in themself
Lost in a world that seems to have no place for them
A place that everywhere they turn is a deadennd
Where everyone seems distant
A place where those that appeared to be friendsdissapear
If you could reah them what would you say
What would you tell them that would keep them from giving up
"Same Old"

Everyday I wake in the morning
Still feeling this void inside full of mourning

The feeling of emptiness, the feeling something is missing
Especialy as I find myself reminissing

Remembering the times that made me feel great
That now only bring back the feeling of heartache

For nothing could have prepared me for the devistation
By the one who fullfilled my imagination
" Realization "

As others expierence the joy of what might come tomarrow
I am left with the feeling of sorrow

Remembering of the past trials
And the complete feeling of denial

Failing to embrace the truth
By reverting to the blindness of my youth

Only to now see my foolishness
Of looking for good in the heartless

A mistake I hope never to make again
Only cuz the wounds never really mend
