reetings and welcome to my personal homepage. My name is Sato Suka. I was born and raised on a tiny island in Chuuk State (formerly the "Truk Islands"). I have a beautiful God-given family; my lovely wife, Yorita, my two sons Gary and Steven, and my three daughters, Janette, Emily and Crystal.

Briefly, like many other Micronesians, after high school, I left my folks in 1981 and landed in Susanville, California. Took me a good three years to finish up my two years Associate Program at Lassen Community College. There I met a young Chuukese girl and we felt for each other. Together after completing our studies at LCM, we moved down south and got enrolled at Sacramento State University. Being among the first few Micronesians at the University, no one seemed to know who we were and comprehend our status with the US. As a result, we were facing difficulties getting financial assistance from the school. Not withstanding the heat, we decided to move down further south to San Diego where we could stay with my cousin while go to school. It worked out and we both attented National University and completed our studies there. I owe a great deal to my cousin Gardenia and her husband Ansito Walter for allowing us to stay with them while pursuing our studies.

Little that we knew, we thought we were heading home after finishing up our studies. But, God already had a plan for us to remain in the U.S. and reach out to Micronesians telling them about his great love for them, so it happened accordingly. My wife and I have established permanent residency in San Diego ever since and now with 5 beautiful children, four were born in San Diego and one in Chuuk.

I am now serving as President for the Micronesian Outreach Ministries USA. Our mission is to reach Micronesian Communities throughout the United States and share them the Gospel. Learn more about my affiliation to MOMUSA by visiting the MOMUSA homepage.

I invite you to explore my homepage and don't forget to sign my guestbook before you leave, or email me so we'll get to know each other. God bless and have a wonderful day!
