The EAA will treat all personal data supplied to the EAA as the exclusive property of the individual that provided it. The EAA does not and will never consider it to be the property of the EAA. All information that is provided to the EAA is done so with the understanding that the EAA will only use the data consistent with this policy. It will only be used for the mailing of the newsletters and soliciting membership votes.
The EAA does not sell, give away or provide any access to the memberships' private data. Reasonable steps will be taken to prevent the unauthorized disclosure of the data but no guarantees are given. Warning: It is possible that a US Court may order its release. The EAA will be powerless to prevent that type of disclosure.
The EAA may, from time to time, request survey information. The survey information is requested to allow the EAA to better understand the needs and interests of its members. The survey information will be completely disassociated from all of the personal identification information at the first opportunity. The membership is encouraged to help the EAA understands its members better but providing the survey information is completely volentary. This data may be summarized and presented.
