The same monkey-bodied-Hanuman during his childhood days - saw the rising of the sun and thought that it was a fruit, and very quickly he swallowed the sun.
The translation of the above verses is given almost literally, without any insertion of my own.ELUCIDATION
According to verses 3 and 4, Lord Shiva having glanced at the handsome appearance of Lord Vishnu, he at once became sexually excited and confused and was unable to control his sexual urge.
I have serious problem here. Lord Vishnu was a male person. How could a normal man become sexually agitated by seeing another male person?
In verse 5, we learn that the seven Rishis were passing by co- incidentally and noticed the ejaculation of Shiva's sperm and very quickly collected the sperm on a leaf. This clearly shows that Lord Shiva was in the habit of walking about naked.
Verse 6 tells that the Rishis poured the sperm of Shiva into the ear of Anjani who became pregnant with a child. I will like some one to explain the connection between the ear and the womb fo a woman. and Again, how can the sperm producea monkey-bodied Hanuman? Shiva was amn not a monkey.
Verse 8 tells us that during his childhood Hanuman swallowed the sun which is a huge ball of fie larger than the earth, one hundred times. This is unacceptable by rational thinking people.
The prayer used by the Puranik (Hindu) Priests during the worship of Hanuman is taken from the Hanuman prayer book which says:-
BAALA SAMAI RAVI BHAKSHA LIYA, TABA TEENA-HU LOKA BHAYEA ANDHIYAARAY DEVANA AANA KAREE BINATEE, TABA CHHADA-DIYA RAVI KASHTA NIVAARO
In his childhood days, Hanuman has swallowed the sun, as a rsult the theree worlds became dark.
The gods (devatas) came down from their abode and pleaded to Hanuman, there after vomited the sun from his stomach and relieved them from their grief. How painful is ignorance (darkness). Panjali says that ignorancve is the only soil where evel can grow.
