~*Prologue*~Ah, it was a brilliant and wonderful day throughout Japan. The sun was beaming with great radiance and birds were singing tunes with illustrious beauty. When a person would step outside, all this could make that one filled with glee and great joy. This was a day that all love bugs (couples) would enjoy a stroll with each other. In fact there was one couple that stood out, two eighteen-year olds: Sora Takenouchi and Matt Ishida. They were walking in a nearby park. Their love seemed to be showed through their laughter and appreciation of nature. They walked in the park until their feet were fatigued. And after that, they went to Matt’s house to eat and talk. They seemed to be a very happy couple.

~*Chapter one /part one*~It was about 8:00pm, and Sora decided to leave Matt’s house, she thought her mom might start worrying. She gave a short kiss to Matt and left. Sora had to go through the park again to go back to her house, and as she was going back see remembered the blissful day that that day was, and for that she smilied. The night was as beautiful as the day: the moon was full and gleaming, and the stars were clear and bright. Sora wondered why she didn’t ask Matt to walk her home, but she soon shrugged the question off. When she was almost out of the park Sora spotted Tai, who was sitting alone on a bench under a gloomy tree. Sora thought if she should go up to him and say hi or something like that. She decided not to and continued her voyage home.

~Part Two*~ It was about 8pm. Tai was wandering in the dark and boring park. He had been very depressed lately. His only wish was not to be alone, he wanted to be with Sora Takenouchi. He had been in love with her ever since they first went to the digiworld. Tai thought Sora loved him too, he never thought that Sora would be with Matt! Tai was now very jealous of Matt! Matt had all the good stuff! He had great hair, a great house, a great life, and the love of the girl that Tai wanted. Tai thought that he lived a very unfair life; a very,very,very,very unfair life.

Tai’s feet were getting a little tired , so he thought to sit on a bench. It was located under a leafless and putrefying tree. Tai thought that the tree perfectly symbolized him; him having nothing and grace rotting away. He put his face into his hands and wanted to cry. Then after a while of sitting on the bench and being agonized by his woes, he took his face out of his hands. When he did this, he caught sight of Sora. Just seeing Sora gave Tai a huge smile. He wished he had enough courage to run up to her and tell her how much in love he was in her. But, he didn’t. He just continued sitting on the bench.

~*Part 3*~It was the morning now. Sora woke up seeing birds at her window. She thought it was going to be another great! Sora got up from her bed and phoned Matt to tell him she was coming over. She quickly got dressed and started her way to Matt’s house. Sora started to run, she thought the faster she could run, the faster she’d see Matt. Sora, once again had to go through the park. She was always fascinated by the nature and beauty of the park, so she decided to slow down and walk through the park. As she entered it, she spotted Tai. He was still sitting on the same bench, and from the back he looked like he was sleeping (his head was down). Sora decided to go up to him, and see if he was sleeping, and if so she would wake him up.

”Tai?” She said as she went up to him. As she went up to him she noticed that he did fall asleep, so she tapped hard on his shoulder. “Tai, you silly, wake up!”

”Huh?” Tai said in a roused voice. He opened his eyes and noticed it was Sora that woke him up. “Sora!?” Tai said in a surprised voice. “Um, what are you doing here?”

”Tai, I came to wake you up! I think you were here all night!”

”Oh, I was! Goodness, Kari must be worried sick about me!”

”What about your parents, they too must be worried.”

”Oh, they are out of town.”

”Oh, ok. Well um, I better go. I have to go to Matt’s house. I’m glad that your ok, and stuff. Well um, I..I better go. Bye Tai, I guess I’ll see you later.”

”Wait Sora.” Tai said, he was going to say that he really liked her, and that he thought she liked him too, and stuff like that, but he ended saying,”uh, thanks very much for waking me up. I probably would have ended sleeping here for the whole day!”

Sora giggled and said,”No problem, Tai. Bye!” and ran off.

After that brief encounter with Sora, Tai started to think that Sora really had feelings for him! He thought that because when she was talking to him, she was talking really nervously as if she liked him. This made Tai less depressed and gave him some hope that Sora at the end will be with him, not Matt.
