Our holiday in Egypt was inspired in the summer of 2002 at the IMAX theatre, Kuwait. The programme was "Mystries of Egypt" narrated by none other than the great Omar Sharif.

After several exchanges of e-mails with various tour operators we settled with Orbit Tours.

Did not realize the first night that the stream of water flowing by the hotel was the famed river Nile ........

Had dinner at a KFC joint.... run by a few charming, smiling and hearing-impaired  friendly young men....
The hotel was well-located and had a nice view......
