It will replace the Id log (that pounding Id sign when you start up Quake2) with a cool short clip of Astro Boy. Extract the cinema to quake2\baseq2\video. Rename your old idlog.cin to something else unless you want to overwrite it with the Astro Cinema. This is a must have! |

The model is a chick with shoulder length hair, breasts that can be used as a shelf, and wears a short skirt. All new VWep models such as the dual dog railgun and piranha BFG. Also includes standard VWep if you don't like the new models. The punkish skin (shown below) is included as well as a variety of sexy and stylish skins. It was built and animated in 3D Studio Max as a learning exercise in the production use of Character Studio plug-ins for 3DSMax 2.5, Biped and Physique. All other modifications were using the standard Quake2 tools. It has custom sounds, provided by Steve Irvine (Massive Bitch). Too bad the model only has Action Quake2 VWep support, but a normal VWep pack is supposed to come out soon. Includes all the skins in the AQ2 modelpack2 and more. What I dislike about the model is the running animation; it looks like he has constipation. Because the arms are part of the weapon (as with all VArm models), the arms won't show in the multiplayer setup screen. |

Knight (1st-quakeguy) Looks exactly like the original Quake 1 model. He looks so stupid (haha-stupid) you have to have him. It's the original! The 2nd-quakeguy was taken from Generations, a discontinued Q2 mod which mixed Quake2 with Quake1, Doom, and Wolfenstein 3D. The 2nd-quakeguy has new animations, VWep (looks like Quake1 weapons), and a different skinmapping than the 1st-quakeguy (so old skins don't work with it). If you're going to download one of these, download the 2nd-quakeguy because it is better. |

He has a build reminiscent to characters in "Aeon Flux" and "Phantom 2040", or more recently the "Extreme Ghostbusters" and "Men in Black" cartoons, though not as dynamically animated as the 1st two. The Two-Face skins and Two-Face sounds are made by Ambrose. The Two-Face skins he made are to resemble the Two-Face in the Batman movies, not in the animated series (like the skins included in the 770 KB modelpack). The sounds are from the Batman movies. |

Piselli (SuperMale) Superhero model. Because of the model's shape and animations, it is perfect for superhero skins. There are many skins. Has sound support which was made especially for the Duke Nukem skin. Action Quake2 uses a modified SuperMale and named it "ActionMale" and added "Action skins" (movie star skins). About 30 hours have been put into the ActionMale, so it's supposed to be better. The ActionMale model is also compatible with the SuperMale skins, but not with the SuperMale's standard VWep. |

Collins The best female model out there. Looks kind of like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider 2, but not quite. There are 3 versions of Sydney. In the first version, she uses two pistols so there's no VWep. This model has become a part of Action Quake2. A new Sydney model with Action Quake2 VWep has come out. Also, the Amber model is just the same thing as the 1st Sydney except it has animations for standard VWep and the skin mapping is made for 256x256 (the Amber model is quite unpopular, however). But because of the size change in skins, if you put Sydney skins into Amber's directory, then you will notice some skin mapping errors (most noticeably in the hair). However, you can take Amber's standard VWep and put them into the 2nd Sydney's directory since the 2nd Sydney model is a modified Amber model. The only change is the skin mapping--it's made to work like the original skin (308x193). Therefore in the end, the 2nd Sydney is just like the 1st Sydney except with VWep support, no Lara Croft-like pistols, and no bangs (as in hair style). Selflove re-skinmapped the 2nd-Sydney (which is now called 3rd-Sydney), and made kick ass skins and put together soundpack2 (the best soundpack unless you like Lara Croft sounds a lot). [5/30/99] Fixed all VWep null skin bugs. [6/09/99] Linked BFG skin to the one in the pak0.pak to save texture memory. [8/13/99] added photoshop .psd files and original sydney (tris and weapon) model. Also added two more skins. [9/06/99] Linked akimbo gun skin to the one in the AQ2 pak. This is a must have!  Going to battle in style! (click for larger image) |

My rating: 4.5 Author: ? Part of Action Quake2. SWAT team/terrorist with various skins. Has Standard VWep (by Kurt "Apocalypse" Cadogan) and Action Quake2 VWep support. Many skins are included. My only gripe about this is the lack of taunt animations; but it's no biggie because in a game, not many people use them. The sounds are cool too.  They took over the dam! (click for larger image) |

Collins Yohko is an anime character. The 108th generation of Devil Hunter. A sword is her standard weapon. I packed the model with the VWep pack. If you want to see the sword instead of the weapons, then just delete the gun models (the w_*.md2 files). The Japanese soundpack seems more fit for this model. The pack has a green skin that could be used for 3TCTF but the filename needs to be renamed. 5/30/99 Fixed all VWep null skin bugs. |
