Welcome to the
Shire of Rivermarch
Kingdom of Meridies
Rivermarch is a Shire (a local chapter) of the Society for Creative Anachronism (a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the study and enjoyment of the middle ages). The Shire exists within the Kingdom of Meridies, which encompasses most of the state of Georgia, Alabama, most of Tennessee, the panhandle of Florida, part of Kentucky, part of Virginia.  The Shire of Rivermarch mundanely covers the areas of Columbus to Pine Mountain Georgia, Phenix City and Smiths, AL and other surrounding areas. Rivermarch welcomes newcomers. If you ever wanted to travel backward through time where knights and chivalry was commonplace; where ballads were sang, armour hammered out and feasts were by candlelight, we welcome you to visit us on our continual quest for knowledge of the middle ages through arts and science and more. All meetings are open to the public. We hope to see you there.
