Denied

Curled into a ball like an unborn babe. I called her name. No reply breathed her lips I took to poking her sides in order to end the game. But no game was this I began to fear. For her skin was nearly chilled and I hoped the weather gave reason. I took her by the shoulders and leaned her back. Through my heart shot pain Her lips were as blues as the crystal eyes she pierced with. My lady friend's chest did not rise and fall, no air did pass her lungs. How could her death be true, when her future once lay so bright? I, her friend and confidant all at once felt warm love for her that did not ever flow before My love I denied so long came bursting through my tears and crys. In my arms I layed her head like a baby child. Oh, my dear I did love you so. My heart knew all along that love say next to me always. Now, I am denied your beautiful smile and whisper in the sunlight. Please forgive my blinded eye. So, accept a meager kiss to send you home, just a little bliss for your torn soul from mine.
