Roberta Badger MRS. HORSESHOE 1990 ROBERTA BADGER
Roberta was awarded this honor on her ability to excel in the art of pitching, her partipation in tournaments, the help she handed out to others. Her attitude towards all situations. She held league offices of Secretary/Treasurer. In the AHPA she was Recording Secretary, served on the AHPA Board of Directors and Rules Committee.

Ron Holliday MR. HORSESHOE 1990, 1997 RON HOLLIDAY
Ron started pitching as a sub on the Sheridan Mens League in 1982. The following year he was captain of his team. In 1984 he accepted the position of Public Relations on the Mens League. In 1985 he organized the Sheridan Womens League which is now the Sheridan Mixed League. Ron became the the AHPA 1st V-President in 87 and also developed the Tournament of Champions that year. Replaced the AHPA President in 1988 do to health reasons. Was elected as AHPA President the following year and held that office until 1995. During that time he ask for the AHPA Constutition and Rules to updated and helped raise the state membership from around 400 to near 700 during that time. He has chaired the AHPA Board of Directors, Constitution, Rules and TOC Committees. Ron was placed on the Board of Directors in 95 and servered as the AHPA Public Relations officer in 1997/1998. Ron also developed the AHPA Web Site and is its current web master. Ron also had his name placed on the Sheridan Mens League "Don Henley Memorial Plaque and our leagues Acheivement Plaque. In 1987 and 1991 Ron also won the AHPA Handicap Points standings for the year.

Bev Holliday MRS. HORSESHOE 1992 BEV HOLLIDAY
Bev is a go getter. She strives to do her best (even with aching feet). Has been a team captain for several years. She was elected league Treasurer for 1998. She has gotten the league achievement award. In the state she received the AHPA Handicap plaque and the Division III State Championship in 1992.

Randy Reddick MR. HORSESHOE 1992 RANDY REDDICK
Randy is a dedicated horseshoe pitcher. If there is a tournament he is there. If there is work to be done, he is there. If there is ANYTHING to do for horseshoes, Randy it there. He helped with the starting of the Sheridan Mixed League. The offices he has held in our league are President, Secretary-Treasurer and Public Relations. On the league he was awarded the achievement award. He is the co-vice chairperson on the state T.O.C. committee. He has been known to pitch on as many as three leagues. We always consider Randy the mister helpful.

Sarah LePage MRS. HORSESHOE 1993 SARAH LePAGE
This lady is a fantastic pitcher with a very superb attitude. The same year she had gotten MRS. HORSESHOE she received our league achievement award as Mrs. Congeniality. She was our Rookie of the Year in 1987. She has been league President and Public Relations officer. She was there when we needed help on getting sponsers for our teams and members also. She was team captain for several years. She has served on the AHPA Board of Directors.

MR. HORSESHOE 1993 RUSS FAVORS
Russ has been pitching for over 20 years. He has been known to pitch on as many as 3 leagues. He hits at least 99% of the tournaments. He was awarded our leagues achievement award in 1989, 1992. Russ sits on the AHPA Constitution Committee. The AHPA offices held by Russ consists of Vice-President and President during the 1997 and 1998 seasons. Russ has also been V-President and President of our league. He has been team captain a few times.

Evelyn Sutton MRS. HORSESHOE 1995 EVELYN SUTTON
A very outgoing person started pitching with the league in 1987. She has served as team captain several years. Served as a fill in for our leagues Public Relation for a short time. Elected league Secretary in 1995 and still holds that office. Beginning in 1999 she will serve as Co-Chairperson on the AHPA's TOC Committee. Evelyn was the first woman to be elected as the AHPA 1st Vice President for the 1999 and 2000 seasons. Evelyn is always looking for new people to join our league and attends as many tournaments as possible. She received our leagues Achievement Award in 1997.

Paul T MR. HORSESHOE 1996 PAUL THISTLETHWAITE
Started pitching in the NHPA in the 40's. Started Pitching in the AHPA with the Capital City League in 1952. Captain of teams there for more than two decades. Was once secretary of Capital City. Received Addison Sprinkle Memorial Award form the Capital City League. President of Sheridan Men's League 8 years and received Don Henley Memorial Award fom them. Received Sheridan Mixed League Achievement Award. Member of AHPA Rules Committee. Publicity Director Sheridan Mixed League in 1998.

Bill Sutton MR. HORSESHOE 1999 BILL SUTTON
Bill started pitching in the early 80's on the Sheridan Mens League. He later became a member of the Mixed League and has been a captain of his team. He has served as Vice-President of the league. he was also President for a few years. Bill pitches in many tournaments. He has introduced the sport of horseshoe pitching to many people as well as getting them joinn in our league.

Mary Oliver MRS. HORSESHOE 2001 MARY OLIVER
Mary has missed very few nights of pitching since joining the Sheridan Mixed League in 1993. She has served our league in many ways. She has brought many people into our league over the years. She served as Vice-President in 1995 and is currently our league Treasurer. She runs the concession at all of the local Sheridan tournaments. She keeps score at tournaments and helps prepare the courts for the new seasons. Mary also been a big help with the Sheridan Youth League and collecting donations for various tournaments.
