Welcome to Electronics Section!
I love reading magazines, novels and books of different subjects. Back in 1980, when I was student of High School, I was regular reader of several science magazines including 'Vigyan Pragati' & 'Aawiskar' published from PCRA and NRDC, New Delhi. Both the magazines carry 'Electronics Projects' section. After reading few articles, I was also interested to build some electronic projects. Fortunately I got success in initial steps and this boost up my encouragement. I had never got any kind of training in electronics. Just reading and analyzing the published electronic circuit and projects with the help of some elementary books on electronics, I got the basic idea of functions of electronic components. I build up nearly 50 projects. A few of them were different types of musical bells, siren, alarms, decorative flashing LEDs having different types of motions, intercom, electronic tester, water level meters, electronic chock for tube light, battery eliminator, MW/SW/FM radio receiver and transmitter. A few of them are still with me.
While building electronic projects published by other writers, I got many innovative ideas. I prepared a few electronic project according to my ideas and was successful. Later, I decided to publish them in my favorite science magazines. A few of them were selected and published in May 1994, June 1994 and October 1994 issue of 'Aawiskar' and Feb. 1995 issue of 'Electronics for You'.
After getting admission in Computer Diploma course in May, 1994, I was unable to continue all of the activities related to electronics because of lack of time, money and availability of electronic components. This was the same time, when my articles were being published in magazines.
Going deep and deep in computer programming I found myself unable to do anything further in the field of electronics. My biggest achievement in this field was to get published in Asia level Electronics magazine 'Electronics for you'. I got many complements from readers of the said magazine and my article was also selected for yearly volume of this magazine. My article is still available on the website of the magazine.
