Shahid and Rashid performed live
for about 2 hours in Raag-n-Roll
Concert at Alhamra Cultural Complex, Hall No. 2 on Saturday,
16 September 2006. Audience appreciated their music
a lot. Other artists were Master Kifayat (Violinist), Zafar Iqbal (Vocalist) and Prof. Qasim H. Zaidi
(Keyboardist).

Who I am!
I was born on 20th of April 1973 in Multan (Pak). Since my early childhood, I
have been living in the best city of Pakistan, Lahore. I spent three years of my
early childhood in Birmingham where my Father was doing his Ph.D.
I am an Environmental Engineer by profession. I belong to a highly educated
family. My Father got retired as Dean of Civil Engineering and my Mother worked
as a Headmistress in a private school for several years. My Brother Rashid is
M.Sc. Electrical Engineer and younger Brother Majid is B.Sc. Computer Scientist.
I got married on
10th of March 2003 with an M.A English lady, Jawaria.
By now I have two kids, Sarah and Aleeza.
Educational and Professional Background
After passing my
B.Sc. Civil Engineering in 1998, I continued my education and completed my
Masters in Environmental Engineering in 2003, while I was working with a Lahore
based Engineering consultancy firm. After working for a period of seven years
and four months in Pakistan and Dubai (UAE), I joined the best engineering
organisation of Pakistan, NESPAK in March 2006. I am an Australian immigrant and
lived in Melbourne for some time in 2004.

Music - My Passion!
I started playing music in 1989 after
taking my 10th class examinations. From the beginning, I preferred to
compose my own songs. In this connection, I composed my first song
"BACHPAN KAY DIN"
in 1994. Then I composed
"UET SONG",
which got very popular in UET Lahore and we performed it number of times in
the concerts held in UET during our B.Sc. Engineering session. Other
songs include
"NEELI NEELI AANKHOUN WALI",
"TERAY
HOUNTOUN PE (Geet)", "MANGA THA MAIN NAI",
"MUTT POOCHHO" and
"MEHNDI".
On 13 December 2003, we recorded a song of Sahir Ludhianvi named as
"SAJAN TUM SOU JAO".
The song was recorded in Ata Ullah Esa Khailvi Studios.
In December 2005, I, with the help of
Rashid, composed my most beautiful song till now, titled as
"JAAN-E-JAAN (Darpan)". We sequenced it in
Feb 2006. The song has been
highly appreciated by our friends and relatives.
We are planning to
record this song soon.

Music Workstation
I play and compose my music using Music Workstation. Its a wonderful machine that
gives me great power to compose and arrange my own music in a
professional manner. I purchased it from Dubai on 10th of April 2005.
My Ideals!
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
and Prophet Jesus (PBUH) are my ideals. Other
ideals are Imam Hussain (RA), Mother Teresa,
A. Sattar Edhi, Ali Azmat
and Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
