[She swaggers to the ring, seemingly oblivious of the crowd, Elliot trailing close behind…]

[He climbs up on the apron before her to part the ropes. Once she’s in, he jumps off and circles the ring on the outside…]

[She walks around the ring, throwing some glances to the crowd before finding a turnbuckle to lean against as the song is abruptly ended.]

Personality: She has a very blasé attitude that is often mistaken for arrogance. Quiet most of the time, given up on being sociable. Impulsive, casual attitude towards sex and violence.

Background:
Beatriz Del Toro Batista was born the daughter of a fifteen year old prostitute and an eighteen year old small time criminal. Her father was soon arrested and later killed in jail while awaiting trial after her birth leaving her mother to raise her baby girl all on her lonesome. Deciding it was time to stop living the life and provide the right one for her daughter, she quit hooking when Beatriz was thirteen. This angered her pimp who shortly sent his heavies to persuade her otherwise after she informed him of her choice. The thugs threatened her, but she stood firm. Seeing that her will was strong, they decided to soften her resistance with a bit of the ultra violence. They took the bit too far and put her in a coma. They left her for dead, leaving little Beatriz to come home to find it in shambles and her bloody young mother lying still on the floor. The injuries later killed her.

She was sent to live with her alcoholic uncle who was like a personified Doctor Jekyll/Mister Hyde, gentle as a lamb when he was sobered, evil as the fiercest beast when he drank, which was often enough. Her uncle was a heavily depressed man and later ended his misery when she was fifteen years old. She was then sent to an orphanage, briefly, where she was taken in by a Mister and Missus DeLarge. The family was well enough but she often felt unwanted being that the DeLarges already had a son and daughter. They cared and loved for her as though she was their own, but she never thought it to be genuine. She spent most of her time wandering the streets and hanging around vagabonds, junkies, prostitutes and gangs. After an argument with her foster parents regarding her after school activities, she ran away from their home and for a short period lived a life of vagrancy.

Her wrestling career began at twenty-three when she signed a contract for “Evolutionary Wresting League” managed “The Miracle” Mark Swanson as Lolita DeLarge. The two were a couple so it broke and jaded her heart when it was revealed he was fooling around with her rival, Elle Evel. This devastated her and after costing “The Miracle” his Intercontinental Championship, she wrestled in “Vicious Vixens” under the moniker “Maria Macabre”. She soon aligned herself with Courtney Hate and formed the team of “Diablo’s Deux”, where they reigned as tag team champions for nearly three months.

After VV died, Beatriz and Courtney began anew at “Hard Core Elite Federation” where they continued their dominance in the tag team division. Beatriz also became “romantically” involved with the very manipulative David “Devil” Daniels, the resident Hell Raiser and HCE World Champion at the time. He inducted her into his stable “Satanico Pandemonium” and dubbed her the “The Beautiful Beast”. The stable had a very productive rise with the majority of the members being champions and peaked when Devil Daniels beat President Vincent Wallace for absolute control and unleashed total anarchy. The fall of the empire came with the return of President Wallace and his victory over Devil Daniels in a “loser leaves town” match stipulation. He left the arena immediately and she has not heard from him since.

Without leadership, the stable collapsed from within as members turned on one another. After being brutally beaten by former teammate Commissioner Chris Riddick and abandoned by her so-called “friends”, she became a loner and is now hesitant in trusting others.

Devil-May-Care: While her opponent sits on the turnbuckle, dazed and confused, she grabs the middle rope in the corner, flips up-side down, crosses and tightens her ankles around the opponent's neck and pulls them down onto their back.
Beauty of the Beast: Beatriz grabs her opponent's arm, bends it behind their back, then reaches around their body and holds the arm while placing their chin on her shoulder and hooks it with their free hand. She sits down, impacting their jaw on her shoulder. (Hammerlock Shoulder Jawbreaker)
