Ragdoll Rescue NW & Cat Sanctuary
***NEWS***
As you may or may not have heard Geocities and division of Yahoo that has been used to build this page is closing in 2009 so this page will be gone soon! This was the original page that I myself (Sharla Hill founder of RRNW) built back in 2003. We have for several years now had a beautifully built webpage designed by Cheyenne of Cheyenne Creations , she has done a wonderful and donated (I might add) job for us! So please if you find this page please  know that we as in RRNW are not closing we are located at
www.ragdollrescue.com

My name is Sharla Hill and Iive in the great Northwest! I have been doing Ragdoll Cat Rescue now since 2003 after adopting 2 Ragdolls and since that time have come to realize that the need is so great for this type of set up. I have to turn away so many kitties that for not fault of their own have found themselves losing their home for one reason or another. Some may be older or have health or temparment issues that makes them less than desirable to the few adopters out there so they have no place to turn but shelters that will put them to sleep or a vet who will, worse yet find themselves out on the street to fend for themselves!
My dream is to be able to purchase enough land to have several little cabins for the kitties that enjoy other cats company as well as a homey cattery set up for those that do not want other cats around they would each have thier own room in a homelike  setting like a bedroom or living room and possibly screened porches , and  a set up for ferals  as well.  With the entire property cat fenced in for the safety of the ferals and indoor outdoor cats.
BENNY is a purebred Bengal 4 paw declaw who sprays
Rei is a wonderful but extreamly shy  Siamese mix who is around 10 years old. Lovely sweet Rei has been at the sanctuary for 5 years.
Wren is a wonderful but shy girl who came form WY she has sinus and breathing issues she is about 8 years old
Meet Spooks! He is a huge 21 pounder who spray's and has had all his teeth removed due to Stomatitis. He is a grumpy guy who can be quite lovable and never passed up a meal! He has been at the Sanctuary for 3 and 1/2 years.
Benny has been with us for 4 and 1/2 years now.
Sweet Wren has been here  with us for 4 1/2 years now.
This is  Macy she came from WY with 3 little kittens barely 2 weeks old! She was such a wonderful Momma they found homes but no one wants Moms she is so sweet and really is adoptable even if a bit shy. But not one person has inquiered about her how sad is that?
This is our Button Boy he came as a Feral kitten and we did hope to adopt him out but he just never got over that fear of meeting stangers but has bonded really well with me and my husband. He has been with us a year.
Please won't you consider sponsoring one of these wonderful kitty's for 20.00 dollars a month or a yearly sponsorship of 150.00? With more kitties getting sponsors it means that we will be able to accomplish our dream of a full fledged Sanctuary and be that much closer to helping more kitties in need, that have no other place to go due to issues with temparment or litter box as well as some  health and age realted issues too.
