Quality Inspector

* As of May 2007, started for training at Rexnord working through Adecco as a temp-to-hire on June 1 started working for the corporatin fulltime auditing production of chain links for the food industry.

* Inspected parts for defects, gauging parts doing fresh shots, visual audits, and when needed doing check's more frequently on parts that require more intervals per shift.

* Gauges that were used most frequently were Mics, Calipers, Guage Pins, and tape measures, also doing moisture checks on material or color checks of the production when needed.

* When the techs are through setting up the press, the auditor has to audit the production using Surenergy computer program for dimensional checks or the blue prints to make sure the parts are in spec and have tech's make adjustments when needed.

* Auditors are also responsible to look at all scrap bins to check parts for defects and decide what is and is not passable then enter the count into the computer system, parts are counted as parts per million.

* Corrective Action Reports are filled out when there is a production problem that has a defect of some sort with all the information of that part and then inform the tech to have the problem resolved and then re-audit the production part after adjustments were made.

* During the shift each Auditor fills out a log sheet to let the other Auditors, through the shifts, know what happened during the shift and what to look for or to let the techs know if there needs to be an adjustment made.

* Helped relieve operators for breaks assembling production or when they were slow or short on operators.

As of November, Adecco no longer needed the position filled and has ended the job that was available,.

  Plastic Components

  Quality Control Inspector (QA)

  *  Hired on permanent as of March 23, 2005 to do auditing of Plastic production parts.

  *  Inspected parts for defects, gauging parts that are run on productions, doing first shots, last shots and checking the producuction through out the shift.

  *  When a first (FS) or last shot (LS) is done the auditors have to fill out a tag that includes the customer, description, part number, what mold it is, date, cycle time, press number, lot number and the auditors name.

  *  Corrective Action Reports(CAR) are filled our when there is a production part that has a defect and then put on hold, then the technician is notified of the problem and the part is re- audited.

  *  Make out labels with part numbers, lot numbers, work order, and the wieght of the products that hare reworked or sorted to be put back into finished goods.

  *  Do CAP studies, which are cauge RNR data to check if a gauge or parts dimensions are consistent.

  *   Auditors enter SPC data that is taken throught the shifts  into a computer program for review later.

* When work was slow there were parts to be assembled with o-rings, sorting of rejects, or re work to be done.

  *  The Production parts that we inspect are Briggs and Stratton, Ark-Les Custopn Products, Pentair/Fleck, Strattec, Seimans, Milwaukee Electric Tool, A & E MAnufacturing, and Delpia.

  Presently still working at this company; however, I am still looking for the right job with better pay that would give more chances for advancements in the corporation.

  *  Started working with the company as an Intern to get my degree in Computer Programming/Analyst.
 
  *  Designed and Implementation of a Microsoft Access computer program to keep track of the companies technicians, customers, repairs, upgrades, rebuilt computers, purchases, and supplies.

  *  Analyized for the repairs and upgrades on the computers with the repair or rebuilt as neccessary.

  *  Dealt with customers as they came in or on the phone, filled out paper work for the processes that were to be performed and to explain what we were to perform to the customers, this data was to be put into the database program.

  Finished my Internship on December 31; however, I worked with the company on a volunteer bases until the end of June 2003.

  *  All jobs involved the use of Windows NT, Windows98, Auto Cad, or Func controls
  *  General office work (7 months) was working in the blue print office filing, organizing paper work, coping paper work and blue prints at the end of the plant closing.
 
  *  Quality Control inspector (2 years)was the inspection of shipments coming in or going out or the company  parts and the venders.

  *  CNC machining/setup (5 years) was the running and setup of group cell machinary that had either a vertical or horizontal machining, which included Swedturns, Mills, Drills, Broaches, Trubs, and James and Lombsons.

  * Tool Crib Keeper was the organization and disburstment of the tools that the machinist took out and used (like a store) making out tool tickets recalculating inventory and viewed invoices of shipment  that came in, worked on a Windows NT computer system.

  *  Wax injection was the setup and making of wax molds, propellers, rings, cups, and gears, on and off for 7 years
 
  *  Flair, Bushing, wash, paint line assembly and packaging consisted of washing the parts before they were sent to painting, then at painting it was either the paint line machine assembly or the spray painting of the hubs. Then the parts where Flared if needed and then sent to have the bushing put in,  after that then they were put in boxes and shrink wrapped for shipping on pallets.

    The company outsourced the jobs laying off all of it employees and then went bankrupt, which in turn led me to go back to school and receive more schooling to improve myself and to get a job that did not involve me doing maching due to a job related injury that left me diabled on my right arm..

At Fiesta Italiana, in July, I volunteer my time once in awhile  to help with the serving of food and drinks.
At Craftsman Computer Services, I contributed my time to help with customers and the  manager with computer orders, repairs, and upgrades for a total of one year.
