ISIS, ISIS,  RAH.... RAH.... RAH!
Speak the name of Isis and images of pyramids, Egyptian temples, and the Nile spring to mind.
Isis was renowned as a Goddess who heals, she is the one that I am most drawn and consider my personal Goddess.
In Ancient Egypt the Goddess Isis was known as the Source of all Life. Although she was called by a thousand names, one of her most sacred names was Iusaaset- Utterer of Words, Conciever of Worlds. She gave birth to the Sun God, Horus. She brought the arts, language, medicine, weaving, all culture to her people.
Isis encourages you to honor the past by integrating what you have learned and can use from it. As you welcome Isis into your life, spread your arms wide in a gesture of awakening and receptivity.
An Isis woman is Self-supporting....Stand tall. You need not ask permission to be who you are. You are the author of your life. Say it the way you want to say it. Make it the way you want to make it. Isis is smiling with you.
I revel in the beauty of my always changing life. I nurture what I value the most. I am free to make my own choices. I say No to some things, in order to say Yes to others. I deserve to live joyfully free. I deserve to feel good about myself. So Mote It Be!
Mysterious, Intelligent, Powerful, Wise, and Beautiful.
                            We are Isis Women.
ISIS
Queen Isis teaches me
That I too am Queen.
My body is her sacred body,
My thoughts the stars in her sky
Through which she sails her moon boat,
Born by the winds of inspiration
And the current of creative passion,
To her lotus palace of dawn,
Where she shelters me with her wings,
Enfolding me into her golden radiance,
While her feline eyes calmly watch
The tumult of the centuries,
As the falcon inscribes his invisible wheels
In the air above the pyramids
And Sothis,
Star of Wisdom
Rises and sets.
