| The Richard Meyrick family Bible was passed from Richard to his daughter, Annie (Meyrick) FRANCIS, to her daughter, Hannah (Francis) STONE. After Hannah's death in 1983, the Bible passed to J. P. WILLIAMS, Jr., great great grandson of Richard MEYRICK. The Bible was published by The American Tract Society, 150 Nassau St., New York, NY and has an 1861 publication date. In the 1860 census, Richard MEYRICK was shown as unable to read or write. The hand-writing in the earlier entries appears to be that of Annie (Meyrick) FRANCIS. After her death, entries were made by other family members. Scanned images of photocopies of the family pages are included with a transcription at the bottom of each page. |
