A Message From the Editor:

Welcome all to the first newsletter related to playing Vampire: The Eternal Struggle (tm) in Cambridge, UK. I hope to publish this every two - three weeks, and will include any hints/tips that I or any other players come up with, important rules changes that may occur, a decklist and a timetable of planned events that we may all be interested in.

Please feel free to email me anything for inclusion, because as an independent state, rather than a Camarilla or Sabbat controlled domain, I want to promote free movement of information between my subjects. I will include anything once I can get it formatted, and posted out.

Any newsletters are posted out to members of my domain, and included at my website. I will archive all newsletters, so that if you want to, you can refer back to them.

Hope you all enjoy the newsletter. The next one will be published in a couple of weeks.

A Timetable of Planned Temple Meetings:

Regular meetings are held on Tuesdays, 7.30pm at the Cornerhouse Pub, Newmarket Road.

Next meeting Tuesday 13th November 2001

Unfortunately, I can't guarantee when the next meeting will be, as the Cornerhouse is closing, and we are trying to locate another venue. Watch this space!

There will be a trip to try to influence others from around the UK on the 2nd December 2001. This will be to Watford, and is a Pre-release for Bloodlines Tournament. I should be going along, as well as Ian. Anyone else is welcome to join us.

The next major tournament will be 23rd December in Watford, assuming enough interest. Please contact Dave Hammond (davecrazy@hotmail.com) to find out more. I probably won't be able to get to this one.

I am planning to run a tournament in our area around January/February time. Again watch this space.

Important News Related to the Planned Awakening of Set:

I am beginning a campaign to get Set reawakened, and to do this, we need to dramatically increase our player base in the Cambridge area. I should soon get a promotional pack from White-Wolf, and intend to run some demo evenings/events. Any players that can help out teaching newbies the game are welcome to help me at these events. I intend to run at least one in Cambridge, and one in Peterborough, assuming this can be organised. I'll let people know.

A Small Section of Prose:

"Pleassse, would you go to the local club. There are plenty of fresssh recruitsss there for the taking. I wisssh you to have sssold all thisss batch by morning. Do thisss for me, and you ssshall be greatly rewarded."

"My only reward is to greater serve you and Set, my master."

"Then you ssshall be able to do ssso for a long time to come. Now quickly. Remember what I have taught you. You will have no trouble ssselling thisss ssstuff. Thisss will further bring the city under my control. The Camarilla are annoyed that they have lossst thisss sssity. We want them to ssstay that way, but not to let them get it back. We can't afford to get complaysssent. Thisss isss a critical time in Set'sss plan.With a good ssstrong hold of Cambridge, we can ssstart to look at the other sssitiesss in thisss country. Go now, and ssspread the word."

With these words said, Tasha left. She looked stunning in her outfit of a black short skirt, and red top. She had been found at a local club. Actually only 16 years old, she pulled off looking old enough easily. The Setite was most pleased with his choice of new progeny. He needed someone who was into the right scene. The club she frequented often had underage people in there, and the younger they were, the better they would be.

He had sent her to sell a new addictive narcotic. He had taught her well in her presence skills. She would have no trouble selling to anyone who had the cash, and especially no trouble convincing the relevant people she was harmless. He was a bit wary of her wish to follow Set, but then why should he complain, one more addition to the new Temple was always welcome, and his first progeny was an excellent catch.

He settled down to some light reading. It would be a good night tonight, and tomorrow he would have another 30 people addicted to his drug. Unlife doesn't get better than this, he thought.
