WHAT'S INCLUDED?

When you're onboard almost everything is taken care of - your accommodations, gourmet meals in the main dining room(s) and cafe, snacks throughout the day, some beverages and 24-hour room service! All activities including the fitness center, entertainment and Camp Carnival are all included.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED?

Your cruise does not include the following: Air transportation; transfers to and from the ship; optional Shore and Land Excursions; dining in the Supper Club; meals and accommodations (except as noted); certain beverages such as sodas, juice, alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks; casino gaming; photographs; telephone calls; purchases from the ship stores; items of a personal nature such as medical services, laundry, massages, spa treatments; and specialty fitness classes such as yoga.

CAN I GET MARRIED ONBOARD/IN THE BAHAMAS?

Sorry, no you can't. However, the 3 Day Fun Cruise makes a great and unforgettable honeymoon!

CAN I SAIL WITH MY INFANT?

Infants must be at least four (4) months old to be eligible to travel, due to their vulnerable health. This is a company policy which takes into consideration the safety and comfort of the infant as well as the other guests. Carnival has fully researched the legality of the policy and it is not discriminatory and does not violate any applicable law. Carnival will not make exceptions and do not allow for the signing of waivers or releases to make an exception to the policy.

HOW DO I PAY FOR ITEMS ONBOARD?

Sail & Sign is Carnival's cashless onboard credit program which allows guests to charge purchases directly to a personal account for convenience throughout the cruise.

Registration will take place on sailing day at embarkation or on board at the Information Desk. The completed application form (included in the cruise documents) must be submitted along with a 1) credit card, 2) U.S. currency, or 3) traveler's checks.

Personalized Sail & Sign cards will be provided to all guests on a booking (including minors) and are valid for use immediately upon boarding the ship.

The Information Desk can provide guests with a balance update at any time throughout the cruise.

All charges will automatically be billed to the guest's credit card at the end of the voyage. On the final morning of the cruise, a statement detailing all purchases made with the Sail & Sign card will be delivered to the guest's stateroom. The total amount will be applied to the credit card presented during registration. For those guests who put down a cash deposit, if there is an overpayment at the end of the cruise, the guest will receive the overpayment in the form of a check attached to their detailed statement on the final morning of the cruise.

ARE THERE ANY BEVERAGE PACKAGES?

Yes, Carnival offers a soda package for purchase - a "Fountain Fun Card" which will allow them unlimited soft drinks for the duration of the cruise at a one-time purchase price (including gratuities). The "Fountain Fun Card" can be purchased at the casino, lobby and pool bar onboard the ship. In all locations where beverage service is offered, guests may receive a glass of the soft drink of their choice - one glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the card. The card cannot be used through room service.

NOTE: A 15% gratuity will automatically be added on at the time of purchase of the Fountain Fun Card.

Carnival does not offer any other drink packages.

Liquor and Beverage Policy

Bringing Alcohol Onboard - Embarkation
Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, wine enthusiasts may bring fine wine or champagne on board only during embarkation at the beginning of the cruise. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the dining room or a $14 corkage fee per bottle in the Supper Club. Guests may bring a small quantity of nonalcoholic beverages. All liquor, excessive quantities of wine and nonalcoholic beverages, to be determined at the discretion of security and/or embarkation personnel, will be confiscated and discarded without compensation. Guests may purchase a variety of beverages on board the ship. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 21. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the ship's gift shops or in ports of call will be retained by Carnival until the end of the voyage.

Ports-of-Call
Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in any Port-of-Call will be confiscated at the gangway, stored on board and retained by Carnival until the end of the voyage.

Ship Gift Shops
Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in the ship's gift shop will be stored on board and be retained by Carnival until the end of the voyage.

WHAT IS THE DRINKING AGE ONBOARD?

The minimum age for the purchase and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the bars, lounges and gift shops is 21 years of age. Carnival reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone. In the event that Bar/Restaurant/Gift Shop Staff are in question that a guest is less than 21 years old, they shall request picture identification, prior to serving the drink or selling the bottle of liquor.

IS THERE AN ATM ONBOARD?

Guests are able to withdraw funds and make balance inquiries on their checking and savings accounts while the ship is in port or at sea. Please note: The supply of money may be depleted prior to the end of the cruise. Following is a list of major credit cards and Networks accepted: Honor, Tyme, Shazam, American Express, Magic Line, Oath, Mac, Master Card (Cirrus for Non-U.S.), Visa (Plus), Nyce Pulse, Yankee and Alert.

There is a $5.50 fee per transaction for this service which is controlled by the bank sponsoring the ATM's, Bank Atlantic of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

WHAT'S IN MY CABIN?

All staterooms have an amenity basket displayed in the bathroom. The amenities are subject to change and are only sample sizes. The basket may include such things as: his/her razors; shampoo and conditioner; body wash; Tylenol; deodorant; hard candies. Supplies will be replenished by the room steward, if quantities allow. A hair dryer is also provided at the desk/vanity in the stateroom.

ARE THERE LAUNDRY SERVICES ONBOARD?

There is a valet laundry service onboard; dry cleaning is not available.

Each ship has at least 2 self-service launderettes located on the stateroom decks. There are two or three washers and dryers, and one iron and ironing board in each launderette. The cost is $2.00 per washer load and $2.00 per dryer load. Vending machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener at $1.00 per box.

Note: Due to local environmental requirements, the washing machines in the guest launderette will be closed in port, per each ports specific requirements; the dryers and irons will be available for guest use.

WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY?

Carnival's vessels contain non-smoking sections. Guest agrees to refrain from smoking in those sections and agrees that Carnival has the right to disembark the Guest for failure to observe Carnival's non-smoking policy.

WHAT IS THE TIPPING POLICY?

Your standard gratuities have been prepaid. These include your cabin steward, Dining Room Head Waiter and Waiter, as well as the staff in the Casual Dining Restaurant on the Lido Deck.

Bar Waiters, Deck Stewards and Bell Boys - Certain personnel, as noted, may be tipped as service is rendered. A 15% gratuity is automatically added to beverage purchases which the guest may adjust appropriate to the service received.

Please feel free to reward any member of the staff with extra gratuities for excellent service.

IS THERE INTERNET SERVICE ONBOARD?

Yes. In fact the Carnival Liberty has wireless access from bow to stern.

The Internet Cafe is open 24-hours a day and features private workstations with the latest flat panel computer terminals. Guests have the ability to send and receive e-mail and access Internet sites. Guests can access their home account through AOL, Hotmail, Juno or Yahoo or have the option of setting up their very own temporary account on board with CruiseE-mail.

If Palm Pilots are wireless, guests can take advantage of the wireless access.

Guests may bring their own personal Laptop for use on board by using the Wireless Internet Service.

Internet Cafe Price List
Charges for the following services will be billed directly to guest's Sail and Sign Account as follows: A one time activation fee is $3.95. To obtain a temporary account while on board, the set-up charge is $3.95. To print information, the charge is $.50-per page.

To utilize the service of the Internet Cafe, whether using a private workstation, renting a laptop or using the guest's personal laptop, the charge is: $.75-per minute. Block of Minutes (no refund for unused minutes):

30 minutes for $16.50 (.55 per minute).
60 minutes for $24.00 (.40 per minute).
To rent a Wireless Internet Card for a guest's personal laptop, the rate is $10.00 per day.
To rent a Laptop, the charge is $35.00 per day; optional insurance is $10.00 per day.

ARE THERE MEDICAL SERVICES AVAILABLE ONBOARD?

Should a guest require medical attention while aboard the Infirmary staff is available to assist 24 hours a day. The Infirmary is equipped to treat minor non-emergency matters. Physicians are available to render services at a customary fee. While at sea or in port, the availability of medical care may be limited. CAN SPECIAL DIETS BE ACCOMMODATED?

Guests with diet requirements can be accommodated onboard. Dieticians are not onboard; therefore, only assistance with simple requests such as the method of preparation of menu items can be accommodated. The special diet requirements need to be arranged with the guest's Headwaiter on the first night of the cruise. Every menu (in the dining room) has Spa Carnival Cuisine Fare. These items are lower in calories, sodium, cholesterol and fat. Salads are prepared with diet dressing. Desserts are prepared with Sweet'N Low or NutraSweet instead of sugar. In addition, each menu has one vegetarian entree. Low-cholesterol egg substitute is available upon request as well as diet jellies at breakfast.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE ONBOARD?

SPA CARNIVAL: Want to relax a little between the day's activities or after partying all night long? Visit Carnival Spa and take advantage of the various spa services offered onboard. Reservations can only made on board and appointments are on a first-come first-served basis. Note that prices are subject to change and may vary slightly from ship to ship.

CASINO: Whether you enjoy playing slots or blackjack, the Czar's Palace has the game for you. If you want to learn how to play just go to the Gaming Lessons at the beginning of the cruise or ask any of the friendly staff who will be happy to assist you.

SHOPPING: Whether you are looking to buy a T-Shirt, a stuffed animal, or some jewelry for that someone special, there are all kinds of duty-free shops onboard.

SPORTS & FITNESS: Had two entrée's at dinner and two desserts? There's always the jogging track or the state-of-the-art fitness center.
