In the begining of the movie, Inu Yasha and the group finally capture Naraku, but then the full moon continues for days, and strange things start to happen. A demon appears and calls herself Kaguya "princess of the heavens"

Inuyasha finds his fathers 3rd sword called So'ungun. The sword takes control of Inuyasha and he goes full demon. Sesshomaru shows angry that Inuyasha has another of their Father's swords. The evil human that killed Inuyasha's father when he was weak is reserected by the power of So'ungun. This has to be the best movie out of all of them. It has a lot of background on Inuyasha's mother and father which you get to see in this movie. Mother's name is Iyozi.
They do not call Inuyasha's father by name. They call him "Inu no Taisho" which means dog demon leader. I will see if I can get some pictures of the 3rd movie soon.

Its about an Island of Immortals that surfaces every few decades. Kikyo and Inuyasha happened to deal with it since it surfaced last. The island is controlled by four gods called "Hourai-jima" and a girl named Ai appears from the island. Ai knows Inuyasha and hasn't changed at all since the island's last appearance fifty years ago. Sesshomaru will also be in the mix somehow and fight Inuyasha again.
