Zhane is almost constantly busy with his many different jobs within the castle. You'll note that he offiically belongs to several guilds within the castle, yet he always seems to be rushing aboutt rying ot get the last finishing touches finished on any number of different projects.He is a very vocation oriented person, who has one too mnay vocations
Firstly, and foremost, Zhane holds his duties to the Academy of Dance, as Dancemaster of the Academy. He takes that honour very seriously, because he thinks that the arts are the most marvelous thing in the castle, and he strives to prove his dedication to them at almost any cost, short of giving his life or doing something illegal. His guild standing is indicated by the bronze enampled pin bearing two dancing slippers.
Additionally, Zhane, is the Patron-Founder of Sir Launfal's Mentors. He holds this position in high reguard as well. His duties within the Mentors are limited, simply, he makes certain to offer his guidance and assitance whenever he might do such. He adores the Mentors, and views them as his children, in Adalyn and Aleena's absence. His guild standing is noted by his Wooden V-Shaped pin.
To venture further into the Arts, Zhane forewent the Poet's Brotherhood, and instead decided to take on the Friends of the Muses. He was quickly accepted, and as their only dancer, he quickly became Luminary Zhane. Zhane's guild standing is indicated by the silver pin he wears, bearing the faces of tradgedy and comedy.
The wooden ring upon Zhane's finger signifies that he is a member of the Courtesy Circle, a group of denizens within the Outer Bailey who dedicate their time to promoting courtesy throughout the Baileys.
While working under Her Ladyship, Charmiam, Priestess of the Faith, Natura Balanus, Zhane became very interested in the Faith, and as such, upon reawakening, He took his oaths, and is now a Seeker of the Faith. He is quite happy being a seeker, and does not wish to advance within this organization any further. He does not need rank or advancement.
Zhane has recently been accepted as a Junior Student within the Royal Collegium, and awaits Honoured Guest status before being Favoured with full student status.
Pending the hanging of a self-portrait, Ser Zhane is to be named a Royal Artist, which sits upon the Ninth Link of the Chain of Being.
Zhane's dedication was recently awarded the honourary title of Luminary, by the ex-Mistress of Entertainments, Mistress Adalyn, to recognize his studies in the art of dance and Poesy.
