We assign two students to a PC. * We are connected to the Internet via Cox@Home cable, (complimentary). * We offer sx courses, (PC1, PC2, Introduction to E-mail and the Internet, Quicken 2001 Deluxe, Works Word Processing, and Windows 98 ). * We have nine classes, (one Quicken, two PC1's, two PC2's, two E-mail / Internet, one Word Processing, and one Windows 98). This "mix" changes based upon demand. Classes are usually full and there is a waiting list for some classes. We have approximately 100 students enrolled in these classes. * We also have an "Open Lab" on Saturday mornings from 9:00AM-12:00PM (three one-hour sessions). Qualified instructors, staff the Lab. Any student can reserve space in the Lab., to work on whatever PC skills they want to improve upon. |
