Ever tried the Azeri style shahslyk? First comes egg-plant,



...then tomato, which is followed by Bulgarian pepper (shirin bibar; the latter is not in the picture though, but believe me - we enjoyed it too!!!)



Egg-plant must be prepared on the very flame to get its skin burnt.



In Azerbaijan, this type of kebab is called "gara-gyrmyzy" (black-red). On the picture you can see that the flame kind of "licks" the egg-plant and gets its skin burnt.



Danube is always beautiful. Especially during Golden Autumn.



And then comes lamb. The best pieces are antricot and leg.
