    How to Rotate a Smart Boss Profile ?

    Right-Click on the center of the Mounting Boss profile.

    Select Properties from the shortcut menu.

    Change the angle as required.

    How to Specify Default Text Font for Text Elements ?

    Redefine the Normal text style.

    Select Format > Style > Text > Normal > Modify > Paragraph and set the font, height, etc.

    Save the style.

    After this when you place a textbox it will automatically use the correct font that was set for Normal text style.





    Q 62. Hidden Parts

    How to Find Hidden Parts in an Assembly ?

    This can be done with the Query command:

  • While in the Assembly file, take the Select Tools tab on the EdgeBar.

  • Click on the New Query button. The Query dialog will come up.

  • Select Parts currently hidden from the Query Scope: pull-down list.

  • Select Name from the Property: pull-down list.

  • Select Contains from the Condition: pull-down list.

  • In the Value: field enter a wildcard (*).

  • Click the Add to List button.

  • Click OK.

  • Double-click on the Query name in the list under Queries to execute the query.

  • Go back to Assembly Pathfinder and the hidden parts will be highlighted.
