The 2002 Support To Extended Families Caring For Children was again introduced on June 7, 2004 to the Community Services Committee and the Regional Municipality of Niagara Council and subsequently approved on June 17, 2004.
On June 18, 2004 the Regional Chair submitted correspondence plus the 2004 documentation to the following Ministers at Queen's Park:

Sandra Pupatello
Minister of Community and Social Services

and

Marie Bountrogianni
Minister of Children's Services

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

WE WOULD ASK THAT IF YOU AGREE WITH THE ABOVE RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUPPORT THESE ISSUES, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED IF YOU WOULD WRITE A SHORT LETTER TO THE TWO MINISTERS RESPONSIBLE FOR ONTARIO CHILDREN. YOU COULD ALSO CONTACT YOUR LOCAL MPP’S AND MP’S. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN CHANGING LEGISLATION!
