Characters:

- Brian O'Connor (alias Brian Earl Spilner): A young cop who is sent into the world of illegal street racing in Los Angeles. He is sent to discover who is highjacking recent shipments of electronics
- Dominic Toretto: The king of the street. He is the one that everyone idiolizes in the illegal street racing cirsuit. He is also the number one suspect in the highjacking cases
- Letty: She is Dominic's girlfriend who is very protective of him. She is into cars and that is the common bond that her and Dominic share
- Mia Toretto: Dominic's younger sister who is falling in love with Brian. She loves Dominic but does not want to see him get hurt or in toruble
- Johnny Tran: The "bad-ass" of the neighbourhood. He and Dominic are enemies and rivals
- Jesse: A member of Dominic's team. The ADD brain child behind all of Dominic's cars. He is a risk taker and pays for his actions
- Leon: Another member of Dominic's team who is the level headed on of the group
- Vince: The craziest member of Dominic's team. He is an enemy of Brian's although Brian would like to be friends
- Sgt. Tanner: Brian's boss in the LAPD. He is on Brian's side but says that Brian must choose between Dominic or the force
- Edwin Bishop: An African American Don Juan street racer who thinks he is the new king of the streets
- Harry: Brian's boss at The Racer's Edge who is helping him with his case
- Agent Bilkins: An FBI officer who is not the biggest fan of Brian. He wants to bring the highjackers down
- Muse: Another FBI agent who is working the case. He is also not the biggest fan of Brian
- Hector: A Latino street racer who is friends with both Brian and Dominic

Story Line:
|
A young cop trying to earn his detective badge works undercover with the LAPD and the FBI to infiltrate the world of illegal street racing. Brian O'Connor (alias Brain Earl Spilner) works the street racing circuit undercover to determine who has been highjacking recent shipments of electronics. The LAPD and FBI believe the perpetrator is Dominic Toretto but O'Connor wants the feds to hold off because he is attaching himself to Toretto, his team and most importantly his sister (Mia). When the FBI makes the wrong decision and goes after a rival street racing gang they are forced to move on Toretto before the truckers take action into their own hands. Now that O'Connor is positive that Toretto's team is behind the highjackings he must save his enemy from Toretto's team (Vince) from a trucker that they are highjacking. After Toretto realizes that O'Connor is a cop he tries to flee with his team. After Tran kills Jesse Toretto and O'Connor together take out Tran. This prepares for the final race between O'Connor (in his Supra) and Toretto (in his 900 hp Charger). After Toretto hits a truck and flips his car police sirens are heard in the distance. O'Connor does not want his new friend to be arrested so he gives him the Supra keys and Toretto drives away and O'Connor walks to face the consequences of his actions.
