Bienvenidos Amigos Welcome to our humble amateur birder website which is dedicated to our love of bird watching. We hope you find it interesting and informative. Please check back every so often to see what's new. We call our place Rancho Colibrí for our favorite bird the hummingbird, or colibrí in Spanish. Much of the information given here is devoted to these delightful creatures, often referred to as the "Jewels of the Sky." The information has been gathered from books we've read, talking to people, and our own experiences. Please read our web log, Bird Watching at Rancho Colibrí, to find out what's happening outside our windows these days. Our Life List of birds continues to grow each year.
