| The IIMA has evolved from being India’s premier management institute to a notable international school of management.It is now not only recognized in India but forms part of a chosen few at International level. With an aim to impart synergy between drivers of society and industry IIM was created in 1961 as an autonomous body with the active collaboration of the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, and industry.

AGMP
The program has been designed to equip managers in the concepts, principles and applications of modern-day management. The program provides a background of the Indian environment, develops essential skills in all functional areas of management, and integrates these through cases dealing with actual applications in industry. The program is a judicious mix between quantitative techniques and qualitative perspectives and has been designed to be of benefit to executives who have recently taken on, or are being groomed to take on, significant managerial responsibilities.
