Nature and Agriculture - Balance

How can we find a balance between nature and agriculture?

this is soooo easy.....
put on your boots ,and pick up a stick and walk away........
when you see a place that looks like home(you can live on it )stand there and yell.."this is mine ,piss off you lot......", This statement is ment to apply to anything and anyone that you take a position on, for now, and for all eternity. If you are indeed fortunate you will have sorted all politic for ever.

now i have a home....,food...yum
take the stick and hit anything that might compeat with you for a resorce, eat it.......or cut it down...then eat it,build a fence with the leftovers
'looking a bit sparce?'

take stick and dig a hole,(idealy this is done inside the fence) plant a seed,,
new food source....kill and eat anything tthat wants to eat your food ,try to stay home and guard it

its cold.......the fence didnt work.........that guys did.........
exit premis one.......invade that guy ...eat his food

if he doesnt like it he can pick up his stick and leave
in any case the land still needent feed him

and on it goes
so we have society to moderate these cycles......specialisation of tasks etc
continuity if you like, people thrive in it
nature doesent.

to paraphrase a mate,we need national parks so that there will be somewhere to be when this bit is stuffed......he thought 1000 years perhaps on each

agriculture and nature can exist at the same time...perhaps not in the same place
if human social coheasion falters or evolves nature is in with a chance,if it simply continues and the land use expands to cope, we will be forced to deal with deminishing returns...in the end we are left with the stick.or politic
