Part 6

Morcorban walked out to meet the approaching party of elves; his black robes flowing around him as he descended the steps. This was going to be a long long day. The other group had finally caught up with the first three and all were just entering the gate as he made it to the bottom, waiting patiently as they rode forward. Finally they made it past the line of evergreens that lined the entrance to the courtyard and dismounted.

Morcorban waited till the party of elves were before him before speaking . “Mae govannen, King Thranduil, Lord Elrond, and Lord Celeborn.”

It was Elrond that spoke up for them. “I am afraid this day does not find us well at all; I would like to see my sons.”

Morcorban nodded. “Of course, I apologize. I assure you, Lord Elrond, that your sons are here and we have treated them well and no harm has befallen them. Regardless of what you think of us, we would never hurt a child. Now, come we have much to discuss.”

When Morcorban turned, Elrond and Thranduil exchanged a rather doubtful look knowing what had befallen Thranduil’s Queen, but they had no choice but to trust the elf.

Carchthoron turned the corner just as two elflings ran into him. Quickly, he placed a large hand on each shoulder firmly. “Hello, sons of Elrond, I am Carchthoron and I have been sent to return you to your Ada. He is waiting for you with your Attar and King Thranduil.”

Elladan looked at Elrohir with wide eyes, not trusting this elf but knowing they did not have much choice. They nodded in unison.

“Good, but first let us go find you some clothing that will be more acceptable. May I ask where Brilion, the elf that was sent to retrieve you, is?” Elladan bit his lip as they were led down the hall.

“There was an accident, and he hit his head. He is now unconscious on the floor.”

“We were coming to look for help,” quickly added Elrohir.

Carchthoron smiled knowingly, “I see?Once I take you to get dressed and return you to your Ada, then I will send someone to check on Brilion.”

Morcorban led the party of elves down the hall to a room where comfortable chairs lined a large black table. Silver wine goblets sat before each along with dinner settings.

“We felt you would not want to wait to begin these negotiations so we made every effort to expedite this, despite the tensions between our people. We wanted you to feel as comfortable as possible, despite all that has transpired.”

Celeborn nodded, “It is most appreciated. We would like to see Elladan and Elrohir as soon as possible.”

“Of course, I have already sent someone to fetch them. They will be here unharmed, I assure you, though I am not sure of my advisor that I sent to fetch them. Now let us get down to business shall we? ” Motioning for the other elves to sit.

Celeborn motioned for everyone to take a seat and then slid in to one of the comfortable chairs.

Morcorban waited for everyone to be served and the servants to leave before beginning to speak.

“My King has given me authority to use what ever means I feel is necessary to end this war. There is a new danger approaching and we will need a truce between our peoples to overcome it.”

Thranduil frowned, gripping the edge of the table. “You kill my wife, kidnap Elrond’s sons, and torture our people, and then ask for a truce where you take our lands and ask for the return of those you have driven to the point of insanity?!”

Morcorban looked genuinely confused as he replied calmly, “You are correct that I was behind the kidnapping of Lord Elrond’s sons and I was forced to extract certain information from the Chief Counselor, but I am afraid, King Thranduil, that I do not know anything of your wife. We did nothing to her.”

Elrond frowned, “Tell us of this new evil.”

Morcorban folded his hands, watching the elves before him, seeing that they truly did not know. “Melkor is free.”

Part 7

The room went utterly silent with elves looking back and forth at one another, shock plainly written on their faces. Morcorban waited till he was sure that what he had just revealed had sunk in before speaking up once more.

“Several of our troops have been abducted while on patrol. We believe that Melkor is creating orcs once more.”

Celeborn frowned at this recent revelation. “How is this possible? “

Morcorban shrugged, resting his hands on steepled fingers, “I know not, I only know it to be true.”

Celeborn had felt his wife’s presence, but she had been silent till now that very moment.

“He is hiding something, Celeborn; though I know not what, be cautious. Do not give him Imladris. I fear that he will use it against us somehow, but he will try for Erestor.”

Celeborn looked at Morcorban, his head held high a commanding tone in his voice, “We are all in danger then truly, yet we will not return Erestor to you and you cannot have Imladris. We have agreed on this. Perhaps we can come to an agreement that will benefit both sides.”

At that very moment, there was a knock at the door. Morcorban motioned for his closest advisor to open the door revealing Carchthoron and the twin sons of Elrond, who were now wearing matching dark blue tunics and black leggings. As soon as they saw their father, they ran forward, both talking at the same time saying the exact same thing as they threw themselves in to their father's arms.

Celeborn smiled, relieved to see his grandsons unharmed and remembering how Elrond and Elros had done the same thing more than once.

Morcorban stood. “I will give you some time to speak amongst yourselves. I will return when you are ready to begin.”

Thranduil watched the Dark Elf Lord walk out before looking at Elrond . “Perhaps we should send the twins out with Saelbeth while we discuss this.”

Elrohir and Elladan both frowned “No, ada, we do not want to leave. We are big elves now, we even defeated one of them.”

Elrond lifted a brow as he listened to his sons story about how they had brought down Morcorban’s advisor, proud but scared all the same at the fact that they could have been hurt.

“I understand that you are growing but this is not the place for you yet, as your diplomatic skills still somewhat need to improve before we let you sit in on such an important conference.”

“Yes, Ada.” The twins stood and let Saelbeth lead them out.

Thranduil waited for Saelbeth to lead the twins out before speaking once more. “Do you believe what he says, Elrond?”

“I do not know but it would explain a lot of things. I too have had troops just disappear.”

Thranduil frowned. “Still, there is something just not quite right with this. How did he find out about Melkor and not us, if this is the case?”

Celeborn shook his head. “I do not know but either way, but we must proceed with caution. Galadriel says that he is hiding something.”

Thranduil growled, “I know he knows more than he is letting on."

Elrond sat back in the chair crossing his arms across his chest’ “Right now we

Erestor looked around to find himself in a room with an open window facing out over the sea, arms came up to wrap around his shoulders in a light embrace causing him to shiver.
“What do you want with me?”

A leather covered finger came up and caressed his cheek, as he felt the hot breath drift across his ear, “You remind me of someone from long ago, Erestor, someone whose memory I both love and hate. He was my first love and yet his memory brings unbearable pain. You and he have so much in common, and just like him, I both love and hate you for it. Now I will have what I want even if it is only a dream. Your lord is not going to give you up, but I have you already. Give in to me, Erestor, so I do not have to hurt you.”

Erestor tried to pull away from the arms that seemed to be able to hold him as if he were in an iron grip, “I will not just lie here and let you rape me.”

“I should not have to rape you, Erestor, just remind you how many of your loved ones are in my house at this very moment. Imagine what I could teach Elrond’s sons; they would be my prodigies especially Elladan. His anger would be easily vented for the kind of work I do.”

“No! Do not please, I beg you.” Erestor looked back at him, horrified.

“You know what your other choice is.” Whispered Morcorban.

Erestor hated what he was about to do but he knew that there was no other way. He took a deep breath and let his hands drop to his sides. Morcorban nipped at the tip of his ear while his hands began to undo the clasps of his robes. It was moments later that they pooled around his feet, leaving him standing in nothing but his leggings. He could feel the hot lips sliding down his neck and he tried to close his eyes to block it out, his body tense.”

“Do not fight this Erestor, relax and give in to me; it is the only way.”

Erestor licked his lips, “I will do this but do not ask me to like it.”

Morcorban growled furiously, pushing Erestor across the bed, tearing his leggings off. Erestor fought back a scream as Morcorban impaled himself to the hilt and began to ride him furiously, his hands digging into the sheets. Had it been real, he knew that there would be blood coating his thighs. Erestor whimpered when Morcorban reached down and started to stroke him, his body betraying him as it had done before. He tried to fight the feelings rising inside of him but the elf on top of him was too skilled and his orgasm burst forth at the same moment as Morcorban came inside of him in a mockery of real love.

When it was all over, Morcorban rolled off of him before turning him over and pinning him down to the bed facing him. “You will always be mine, Erestor, I can come to you where ever you go. Even in Valinor, you will not be free from me, and Mandos will not accept you. I have made sure of it. Give in and accept it or it will drive you to madness.”

With those comforting words he left Erestor the dream shattering. Erestor awoke with a scream sitting up sweat pouring off of him. His body hurt all over just as if he had been taken in the flesh, he reached back and then held the bloody shaking fingers before his eyes. And only one thought rang through his mind, Why? Why was this happening to him, he had been loyal he had never hurt anyone yet here he was the one suffering. He stood walking to the bars of his cell, Lindir was sitting in a chair writing a song keeping watch over him though he doubted that he knew anything was amiss. He was going to find his own answers he could not endure this any longer.

“Lindir, I need some books from the library.Could you fetch them for me?”

Lindir nodded “Of course, Erestor here is parchment and a quill. Write them down.”

Erestor nodded his thanks and took the offered items, writing down the list before handing it back. As Lindir started to walk off, Erestor called him back.

“One last thing, could you find a way to have a bath prepared for me?”

Morcorban straightened his robes, smirking. Everything, was falling into place. By tomorrow, He would be king, then he could do things his way, no longer having to do the dirty work for a sniveling weakling. He would be doing it for himself and his Master. Things were looking up for him for the first time in a very, very long time.
