"THIS WAR is all about oil and money. Bush ought to send his daughters over there to fight. War could have been prevented. Bush is not out of a brother. We are."

NAKIA WATERS BEY, Kendall's sister

Who are we?

School students are at the head of the anti-war movement, we are leading in nearly every respect ahead of the rest of the stop the war coalition. We are organising ourselves in schools, we are organising our own demonstrations, we are showing the world how to stop war.

History has shown how we can stop wars, remember Vietnam when millions across the world took to the streets. The largest ever anti-Vietnam-War demo was in its hundreds. Before this war started we brought together tens of thousands! A further 1500 school students demonstrated and occupied roads on the day of bombing!

Put simply, SAW is a group with one aim: we want to stop war. Our constitution is the same as that of the ICTU led stop the war coalition. We allow groups and individuals to get on board and help create a movement in the schools never seen before on the understanding of mutual acceptance of each others ideas and the understanding that everyone wants to stop the war.

We also stand for a united anti-war movement bringing together all school and youth groups under a broad umbrella.

We want to make history and not just be taught it!
