I created a bogus email account (as a woman, but I'm a
bloke) back in September 2002 and decided to email a
reply seeing if the scammer (Canis) would notice that he hadnt sent the email
to me. During the correspondance of the first, I started corresponding with
some others. When Canis stopped emailing Scarlett, I introduced another character,
Isaac Hunt. Then Canis admitted who he was to Scarlett, but was still trying
to scam Isaac. The pictures of the girl that Scarlett is pretending to be I
got from the Internet. I dont know who she is, but thanks go to her anyway!
The Africans seem to like her a lot.
3.12.2002. The Scarlett Barker meets Canis link makes it onto www.scamorama.com. This is the email I got from them:
"Dear "Scarlett",
Your funny stuff is now in the funny links section. Tee hee! That guy's story
sounds familiar though still very interesting.
We've seen enough now to get the basic theme: there aren't many opportunities,
I have no choice, I'm not a bad guy.

Here is the MP3 file that a scammer (well, alledgedly ex-scammer) emailed to me. It's 1.7MB zipped and the song (with his Casio keyboard) contains swearing. His link is the Tony Guie one, which now contains another song. I bet the album is called "Hey, hey were The Mugus"
