Volunteer

Serve on the Friends of Burns committee in Fergus, Ontario which organizes Ontario's most famous Burns' night. The latest 2002 event was again a successful sell-out. We did not run the 2003 version, as many of the committee members who had been running it for 25 years decided to take a well-earned retirement. Another group took it over however, and I helped out again, being in the haggis ceremony. It was again a successful and fun night. That's me decked out in the outfit for another Burns' night above.

I served on the social committees and United Way committees at Open Text and Delrina.

I helped my dad coach hockey for many years. I coached lacrosse for a season in 1997. I used to referee ringette and lacrosse. I was the referee-in-chief in Elora for a couple seasons.

I helped out with the Youth Group at Erindale Presbyterian Church for a couple years.
