What’s new this
Quarter? Q2, 2004: It’s been 1½ year since my last post so many things need to be
updated here. Unfortunately, that’s
really boring, so I’ll just summarize a few items: April and September, 2003: Company I worked for had to let go the
employees … twice … in 2003. Just
another victim of the financial environment at the time, tho I understand the
Company itself is still alive, but in a radically different form. Doesn’t really matter, it just meant that
I lost my job twice. July, 2003: I was an extra [at least
filmed, don’t know if I ended up on the final TV movie or not] for the eagerly
awaited sequel to the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation series: Cousin
Eddie’s Christmas Vacation. Still, I
did get to see Randy Quaid and Eric Idle in person – that was pretty cool. 2003 Season: Cal Football has
witnessed resurgence in competitiveness and consistency not seen since, well,
forever. See below for more. 2004: After finally deciding to move in
a new direction in life, I took and passed the CBEST exam and will be looking
into teaching as a profession. In the
meantime, I have a great morning job at Fed Ex, from 5am till 8am, that
really gets the blood going. |

With the Tedford Era in full swing and starters including stars
Aaron Rodgers, Geoff MacArthur and Donnie McCleskey returning, the 2004 Cal football
team can look ahead to continued excellence, as well as new challenges and
opponents. This could very well be a
banner year for the Bears, and I will be there, cheering them on. Go Bears! |
