The Clubs Open Day
Saturday 23rd September 2006. 10am - 4pm
The clubs new N gauge layout has progressed and there will be sections of it available to show on the day.
The clubs "in progress" layout St Aidan's Bay will be assembled, all 32 feet of it. This was up and running for the first time last year.
With both layouts being fully assembled the rest will be space dependant. Hopefully we may have....
A DCC demonstration layout showing the benefits (and pitfalls) of this latest technology allowing you to run 2 loco's on the same piece of track independantly, and in opposite directions if you wish!
A members layout. A 2 feet by 4 feet table top N gauge. Very space dependant we may have some American G Scale
There will be a Club sales stand with models, kits, track, rolling stock etc.

As ever there is the Demonstration Stand provided by The
Rassbottom Brow Group, who are happy to discuss any
subject, even model railways; in fact anything that stops
them actually having to do any modelling!
There's no admission charge but donations always gratefully received. Light refreshments available at modest charges.
Opening time 10.00am until 4.00pm
