"Example of Terrible Poetry"
A Poem by Khessta

"Quiet as the falling snow
Where it comes from, no one knows
Boundless as the clear blue sea
Shared by two so faithfully
Much sweeter than any candy
Love 'n romance are just dandy..."

Come closer, my dear, and I'll tell you
Of the cruelest beast I ever knew
A teacher who forced students to write
Sappy love poems day and night
This horrid fate she imposed on all
Vermin, goodbeast, short or tall

Said poems must look good, be six lines long,
And place syllables where they don't belong
I'm a baddie, tried and true
I plunder, drink, and eat mouse stew
But I fear I've met my match this time
These stupid poems must even rhyme!

Proper vermin don't rhyme, they spew foul words
But this teacher cowed even Butcher Birds
So if you ever meet this teacher on a dark, cold night
Run! And don't give in without a fight!
Trust me, you'll never miss
Writing bad poetry (like this).
